Same story as others

If I could leave a zero star review I would. My experience with this company was the most bizarre one I've ever had in 10 years of online shopping. As many others here have done, I complained about the high shipping costs as I only ordered one item and the shipping cost was more than the price of the item itself. Our email exchanges became derogatory (on both sides) almost immediately. Then my order was promptly canceled along with one final slight at me. These people are the strangest bunch freaks I've ever dealt with bar none. I reccomend you buy your patches & stickers somewhere else as there are plenty of options.

And if you all weren't such freaks maybe you would get better reviews.

Hi Ryan, you left out the important details. You bought a $4 item, and were mad that the cheapest shipping option we had included tracking ($4.70) with 5 day service, from Canada.

Regardless, your experience aligns with our reciprocal service policy. See here: https://patchpanel.ca/pages/reciprocal-service-policy

Be nicer to people, and they may actually want to deal with you.

Customer service, not so hot.

Started with me putting the wrong address. Contacted the customer service department and after going through the run around I was put in contact with Even and after 3 days he replaced the order. If that was the end of it I would give 4 stars, as the long wait time did lead to an alsome conclusion. But that was not the end right before the new order Even asked for the right address and I sent it to him. After the package was supposed to be delivered I looked up the information and it looked like the wrong address was used again. After using there cat feature I was treated as if I was bothering them and given a refund and then they stopped talking to me. Part of the frustration could be from both partys having to read the conversation as there is no way to talk to anyone. Even with this as it started as a mistake on my part I will try again at a later date.

Consideration of Purchase

£9 shipping for two patches is not "super cheap"- although there was even an option for "free shipping" for me, which was taken away after adding an additional item in to my bag. I assumed purchasing more items wouldn't give me any issues, but it made the "free shipping" option disappear despite removing the items back to their original cart state, running in incognito, clearing cache, etc.
If I'm honest, I like the old site better, even though it was very similar.

Me and my friends have been shopping at The Patch Panel on and off for a good amount of years but I'm not enthusiastic about the direction it's taken; I'm also not too sure if I'll even purchase again at £9 shipping, that's the same price as some of the patches.

Hey Callum, Really sorry you're disappointed in the rates that Canada Post has set for us.

We don't charge a markup on any of our rates, in fact, we don't even account for the cost of packaging materials and the labour to do the shipping in our shipping costs.

What you are charged is the bare discounted rate that we are offered. It's also worth noting that your most recent order was delivered in 2 business days, from Canada, the other side of the ocean from you.

I'm sure during checkout you also noted the express options at 3-4x the price of what you paid, which ironically would have taken the same amount of time.

Comparatively speaking, that seems super cheap to us.

As for the free shipping that you were shown, I'd love to dig more into that. There shouldn't have been a free shipping option shown considering you only purchased two $17 products with a 20% discount (Which would have covered 2/3 of your shipping cost). Needless to say, there's no room there for us to cover free shipping in there.

We used to offer lettermail shipping for free, but it does not offer tracking or insurance, and in the current world we live in that led to a lot of complaints, chargebacks, and PayPal claims, neither of which acknowledge that the customer selected a service without either tracking or insurance, leaving us to shoulder all replacement costs. It cost us far more money to offer the service than we were making off of the sales.

I'm really not sure what you expected here, but I'm still sorry we can't seem to provide it. It seems like we're the wrong fit, and we wish you the best of luck in the future with other vendors.
