The product (natural stone version)…poor results
The product (natural stone version) simply did not remove black spots from sandstone. I prewashed , sprayed per instructions and power washed 3 hours later. Lichen and mould were removed, but not black spot. A second attempt, leaving the sprayed product overnight was no better. I emailed my concerns to the company but got no reply (yet)

The product will remove all the spots but re-treating is often required on older surfaces. This is why we recommend a trial slab first, before treating the rest of the area. Please send us photos so we can see the condition of the stone and advise further. Please send these to info@pbsr.co.uk

I hadn’t cleaned my natural stone patio since it was built 15 years ago. Power washed only. The Black Spot remover has made a huge difference. There are some spots to be retreated, but general overall appearance is fantastic. No hesitation in recommending. I had to find something safe for animals too, which it is.

Our patio had been down for 10 yrs…
Our patio had been down for 10 yrs plus, andhad been somewhat neglected, with an occassional power wash! We have used your patio black spot remover over the last couple of weeks, with the better weather, and the results have been spectacular! Has come up like new. An incredible product
An incredible product. My patio looks like new.It was delivered the day after ordering, with no delivery charges, it’s easy to apply and "does what it says on the tin”. No damage to grass, plants etc., and a complete clearance of all the black spot plus a return to the original stone colours. Absolutely amazing, so much so that I immediately ordered more to treat another area and am now recommending it to all my friends who have a similar problem. Very highly recommended.

Fast delivery
Fast delivery, and the product did exactly as described. I could see the change within 15 minutes, and after two hours I jet washed it off and the patio is now spotless. Good as new. Before, it was covered in green algae. The porcelain looks as good as new now.

Works but ridiculously expensive. Buy Sodium Hypochlorite elsewhere
It cleaned my patio very well but it was horrendously expensive. It cost me £45 for 4 litres (i.e. over £11 per litre) and looking at the ingredients I can see that it is just Sodium Hypochlorite. You can get Sodium Hypochlorite off Amazon for £1.70 per litre. I feel like a right idiot.

Patio Black Spot Removers active ingredient is sodium but contains a blend of surfactants & copper to help the product sink into the stone and work as well as it does. If it were simple to manufacture, all patio cleaners would sell a similar formula. You will notice most other cleaners also contain this active ingredient, but don't perform as well.
We recommend using the Patio Black Spot Remover in 11-12 months time to keep the patio spotless.

This is pure magic
Fantastic product. I’d spent 4 hours jet washing my patio and got rid of green mould but was disappointed it was still grey and had loads of black spot algae that the jet washing couldn’t get rid of. So ordered the black spot remover. Soooo simple to use. Sprayed it on 50sqm in about 10 mins. Left it for 2 hours and then hosed off. Patio now looks literally brand new. Zero black spots and the patios original colour has been recovered. It’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. This is simply magic. Recommended to my friend who has also purchased.
