Best dog tracker
Have been using dog trackers for around 6 years. I started with a competing brand (rhymes with "active") - it was useless: constantly lost signal, the remotely activated tone was barely audible a meter away and my terrier managed to destroy 4 of them in 2 years. Switched to Pawfit rather than buy a 5th. Was a revelation: signal is massively better, if you set the tone off you can hear it a good distance away, and (although not the sexiest bit of industrial design) it's as tough as old boots. Have used support a couple of times (needed a new charger) and they couldn't have been more helpful. Can recommend without hesitation.

Exceptional Customer Service
Not only does the Tracker work very well and provide me with the confidence that I need to walk my dog in all terrains but the customer service from the Pawfit team is exceptional. Prompt, helpful and responsive.
Great peace of mind
We have been using the Pawfit tracker for over 2 years and would not be without one now. The maps are accurate and immediate, and it gives us handy data about our dogs movements. The battery life is good and charging is fast. The collar attachment is very strong, but easy to remove when necessary.
The device failed out of warranty
The device failed out of warranty, it’s not waterproof and the company refuses to replace. I have sent them the evidence of my dog going into the water and the device fizzing and breaking. I’m also on my second charger as it’s broken.

battery life issue
Ive had the product just over a year with full subscription - and its a good product. however after a years use and charging normally (when red light comes on) the battery life decreased dramatically to a point where the charge doesn't last 24 hrs. I have purchased another and i hope the battery lasts longer than one year. otherwise it would have had 5 stars.

Tracking An Elderly Houdini.
We bought this tracker because our cat has just turned 17 and suddenly she thinks she's a kitten again. She used to love lazing around sunning herself and never went any further than our front gate. Suddenly she started pulling a houdini on us when let out in our 'secure' fenced back garden. We also bought a glow collar that we switch on when she is out, I'm sure some of our neighbours have thought we were having a one person silent rave in our garden in the middle of the night, either that or aliens 🤷🏻♀️
We spent a few nights at 2am running around our street looking under cars and in people's gardens - which has probably looked incredibly suspicious on anyone's doorbell camera 🤦🏻♀️ First we tried a different branded tracking collar but it was absolutely useless, if she moved out of our home WiFi range it wouldn't track her until she came back into the garden - pointless.
We returned that one and then decided to try this brand, yes it has a subscription that you need to pay, which can be either monthly, quarterly, 6 months or for 1 year. We chose to subscribe to 3 months as a trial to see how it was, it cost £20 which is alot cheaper than many others I had seen and I was concerned that the price might be low because it wouldn't be very good, but we were wrong.
The tracker itself is very good, it's not as bulky as I first thought it would be, and she doesn't seem to be bothered about this new device attached to her. You log into the app and can adjust the parameters of how far you want her to go before it sets an alarm off on your phone to alert you.
The tracker works on WiFi and Bluetooth which means when she leaves our home WiFi area it then connects to the company Bluetooth which tracks her movement every 30 seconds. If she escapes (which she has done twice with this new collar) you can press the 'Find Me' button on the app which will do a 10 minute countdown and a pinpoint location updated constantly for those 10 minutes, it also triggers a small beeping noise which doesn't distress the cat, but unfortunately you would have to be right next to her in complete silence to be able to hear it.
This tracker has definitely given us peace of mind, we have stopped worrying as much about her amazing escape techniques as matching this locator along with her rave UFO light up collar has made it so much easier locating her. She still isn't allowed in the front garden though, but she has gotten used to laying outside in the back garden now.
The only downsides I would say about the collar is that only one person can log into the app at anytime, which can be difficult if a few of you are trying to find her.
Also the amount of charge it holds. We need to charge it every 3-4 days, and it takes around 2 hours to fully charge - which as you can imagine can be a bit annoying, but I would still highly recommend this as it has made our lives so much better and put our minds at ease. 🐈⬛❤️
***EDIT***
Thank you so much for replying to me and letting me know that we can actually share the location of our cat, and not just by 1 other person but upto 20 people!! That is fantastic and deserves the extra star.
Thank you for your help and thank you even more so for making such a wonderful, useful product. You really have no idea how much this has helped us and put our minds at ease about her. She's a part of the family and means so much to us all.
Thank you for keeping her safe 😊🥰🐾🐱

This tracker is great
This tracker is great. Before I had this tracker my 1 yr old cat got himself trapped in my neighbours car for 20 hours !!! .I was frantic not knowing where he was. Now with the pawfit tracker I can find him anytime , anywhere - it's wonderful

I wish battery would last longer than 6 days. If I'm not at home when battery goes out, then, after long day at work, I forget to recharge it in the evening.
It has happened a few times my cat was wandering around without being tracked.
Works well.
The pawfit tracker is working well, I'm v happy with it. Our young cat has been wearing it for about 4 months now. Was easy to set up, and she gets about 4 days out of it between charges. We turn it off when she's in overnight.
She has come home without the collar/tracker twice and on both occasions we used the location and alarm to find it again. The second time, she lost it in the same place- she was catching it going under plastic netting in a hedge in a nearby garden. The person who lives in the house has kindly cut a slightly larger hole in the netting and we've not lost the tracker since :).
It is accurate. Can see where she is on the tracker and when I go there, there she is.
We live in Perth and Kinross, Scotland.
There’s nothing negative to say
There’s nothing negative to say from my experience. Sensibly priced, and the system simply works and is reliable. Excellent battery life, and totally waterproof even for a Labrador who loves bogs and swimming. Highly recommended.

For peace of mind when your pet is racing round the forest, Pawfit tracker comes into its own.
It gives me some peace of mind
It gives me some peace of mind, but there is a lot to be desired, both in terms of accuracy and training for use in real situations. Hopefully I won't have to, but I'll try it to find my cat. In a hotel complex, searching is impossible, and the hotels are big. Maybe radar should be added.
Pawfit is the best there is…
When it works Pawfit is really wonderful. But things do go wrong. The customer service is now so much better than it used to be when trying to get a replacement unit.

Had to replace the unit.
After about 2 1/2 years of using Pawfit 3 it lost the ability to receive a strong GPS signal, although it was still able to track my dog's position accurately when the 'find' button was pressed. The Pawfit team were very helpful but the device was outside the guarantee period so had to be replaced, although they did give me a 20% discount.
Excellent product
Excellent product. Occasionally needs a reset (once or twice over 3 years) but clear on line instructions make that straightforward.
Wouldn't be without it.
Accurately tracks whereabouts of dog.
Very reassuring.
Intermittent connection
The pawfit connection to my phone is intermittent, so at the times I am trying to track my spaniel it inevitably is not connected. It also requires very frequent recharging.
