Not worth it
I've purchased the pax 2, the pax 3 and the pax mini. Every PAX product seems to stop working/charging within a year of purchase. Customer service is a nightmare to deal with. There is no phone number, you have to email. Pax mini produces little to no vapor. I complain to customer service immediately, sent multiple emails including a detailed video and they refused to accept the return.
Wouldn't even let me use the money I spent on the pax mini for store credit. Horrible customer service and poor quality vape. Not worth the money.
PAX Canada has messed up every order I…
PAX Canada has messed up every order I made with them. They never include the apartment number on the label and I have had to fix the issue myself by contacting UPS (spending what has added up to hours spent on hold).
I have had to do this for all PAX orders over several years, even though I reliably tell them of the problems.
They have never corrected delivery issues (I always have to) and have never identified the source of the problem, in spite of repeated complaints.
Most of the time they blame UPS, and then they refuse to contact UPS to fix the errors. UPS can take instructions from shippers, and it should be the shippers' responsibility to correct errors they made, but PAX forces customers to fix their incompetence.
They were also responding to the wrong email address for the past few years and only fixed that last week, again after repeated complaints. As tends to be their modus operandi, they repeatedly denied that the problem was on their end.
With this order - which was a shipment that was returned after being misaddressed - I took steps to make sure they didn't screw up my order by telling them (before shipping, via customer service channels after the initial order was misaddressed) my correct address, buzzer number and to get in touch with their warehouse to fix the persistent issue.
They still failed. I wasn't expecting that as PAX emailed me to say my shipment was delayed because they were fixing the issue.
They didn't fix it! I doubt their ability to fix basic issues, and I don't take their assurances seriously at all!
I don't plan on ever buying anything from the PAX Canada website again. I should have stopped long ago. They have wasted hours of my life with poor customer service and a completely incompetent fulfilment operation.
I'm only keeping my account open because I have products under warranty. Shame customer service and fulfilment are horrible, because they make decent products.

Nice device, trash warranty
Ordered a Pax 3 in April 2022. The product is nice. Heats up quickly, although it gets really hot after being used for about 5 minutes. The battery now only lasts approximately 30 minutes before it dies. I'm a pretty casual user. I use it on average 3 times a week. Tried having it replaced through the advertised 10 year warranty but was told normal battery degradation is not covered. I would agree except we're talking about 1/3 of the battery life the device has when it was new. That's not normal degradation in my books. Nice device but the warranty is a joke.
Customer Service refuses to abide by warranty policy
After 14 months my PAX Mini started having issues - not heating up enough to produce vapor (can’t taste the flower on that first puff) and sometimes it heats up SO MUCH to the touch that I put it in the fridge for a few min to cool. It also randomly started flashing a blue light and shutting off after a few puffs. I reached out to CS and they asked me to send a photo/video of the blue light. I explained that it does not happen regularly or long enough for me to take a video. The light flashes very briefly, it’s gone before the phone app can be activated. They keep insisting that without photo/video they cannot help me and cited their warranty:
“ PAX Support may request additional details about the device, including pictures or videos and attempt to troubleshoot common issues before approving warranty service”
I pointed out that this says MAY REQUEST not WILL REQUIRE or MUST PROVIDE, and that as the policy is currently worded nothing prevents them from helping me troubleshoot or approve warranty service, but they still refuse. This is blatant BS, they are making a photo/video contingent upon servicing the device and that’s not justified anywhere in their policy.
I ordered a custom pax plus
I ordered a custom pax plus. They took the money from my account even though I got a pop up saying it’s declined because its suspicious transaction. That was over a week ago. My bank is giving me a hard time because PAX hasn’t issued a refund. No contact info on website to even call and complain. Time to lawyer up seeing how they think it’s ok to rob people of their hard earned money
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
I was ready to buy the pax mini but…they ask a photo of my ID, over controlling company should not be supported in giving them business.
I was ready to buy the pax mini but they wanted to have a photo of my ID to prove my age, I am 57 years old !!!!! How does a private company dare to ask in false confidentiality the photo of a governmental ID making you believe that they are perfectly secure !!!! Do not buy to this company or you are encouraging them to control you more and more. Buy a volcano (7stars quality) i have mine since 12 years never broke. Storz and bickel best world leader company in cannabis vaporizers doesn’t ask your id to buy their products.
The device worked for about a year
The device worked for about a year.
Then one day, took it out of my clean, dry temperature controlled, locked storage box for use. Turned it on set my desired temp level 2. The device started to heat up but then began flashing two blue LEDs and shut off. It reached temp.
Naturally I submitted a warranty claim. Only to have PAX customer support give me the run around.
Even after several emails back and forth over several days and submitting my receipt, photos of the device, photos of the serial number and a video of the faulty device, PAX just kept asking for the same information.
It clear to me that PAX does not have any intention of helping their customers.
Very disappointing to the least.
If you are looking for dry herb vaporizer look elsewhere, chances are if you do purchase a PAX you will also find yourself with a $200 paper weight.
Don't waste your money
I bought the PAX Plus going on the descriptions that make it look so easy to use but it's not.
The switch is temperamental and the device is too hot to hold on setting 4, which is the only setting you get any vapour or flavour from but it's too harsh on this setting and makes me cough. The other three settings provided nothing, like sucking on air, trying both mouthpieces and oven lids and packing it tightly with the maximum 0.5gm as instructed. That same amount is three sessions worth with an an Arizer Airmax of nice tasty flavour and thick clouds just on settings 180°c.
It's very messy to fill and the oven screen falls out each time it's emptied.
The charger lead is 21" long with a magnetic strip that falls off the device if not on a flat steady surface, not easy for travel. Plus there's no indication of how much power is left and you don't get long from the battery charger... I've tried this 5 times, less than 5 minutes each time and it needs recharging.
The customer service is the worst I've ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with; Despite me explaining that because of their overstated and overrated advertisements of this product I'm now left with a device I can't use; they tell me they'll do nothing cos the product isn't faulty, yet it's not been checked.
Wish I'd just bought a second Air max because it is far better overall.

Filled out four support tickets so far…
Filled out four support tickets so far for a PAX Plus purchased 7/22/23 that just died Feb. 2024. Haven’t heard zip on their “10 year warranty.”
The PAX stopped pulling well after 6…
The PAX stopped pulling well after 6 months of use. I tried cleaning it dozens of times, even stopped using it for a many months.
Started using it again and it doesn't pull and now doesn't charge. Took days and days of customer service responding every 48 hours. They send a replacement, it's delayed. They don't have my version in stock, and they won't provide the color of the previous one even though they have it. Fine, whatever.
I receive it and it's missing the raised mouthpiece. I exclusively use that as it's difficult for me to turn it on and off with the flat mouth piece (arthritis in hands). They say the raised mouthpiece isn't covered by warranty. So the charger, cleaning supplies, screen, multiple lids, device are all covered, but not the raised mouthpiece?
Never buying Pax again and will discourage others from using it.

I am frustrated with the device It shows fully charged but i can only do 2 sessions with it and it’s so annoying.
Edit: I have Contacted with PAX company after weeks They told me i got replacement Thanks for the company.
19 and legal but they won’t allow me to purchase anything
i’m 19 and have a fully legal medical marijuana card in FL and they won’t allow me to buy anything because i’m not 21, despite being fully legal. I’m trying to not use carts as much so the pax vaporizers seemed like a very good alternative. i guess i’ll never know.
No recourse for non working items
Ordered the Pax Mini, in designer color, at upcharge.
Received an item which doesnt work.
Support first *denied* the S/N, until provided photo proof, then condescendingly sent the same instructions included in the package.
Then asked many questions over SEVERAL emails, over a week+, about the lights and colors, eventually telling me that “ producing vapor is not under warranty”.
Pax sent a *vape* which does not *vape*, but has pretty lights. A vape not warranted to vape.
Did you catch that?
Refuses to replace/refund.
Do NOT, NOT, NOT order from this company. No recourse for subpar items.
Absolutely wild scenario of sending out cute items with no functionality.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. No tutorial. No videos. No explanation. No troubleshooting. No real Q & A. No refunds. You just overpay for a product that DOESN'T WORK and then there is no recourse.
Lacks imagination
It seemed that was not a function on pax that allows you to connect with an app that measures a how much you smoke so that you add it to your Heads up Health app that your Doctor uses to aggregate your health data. Real lack of imagination in my view.
I ordered a pax that said “periwinkle”…
I ordered a pax that said “periwinkle” with an image of a purple vape and I got a dark blue colored vape. They won’t fulfill the return because the box has been opened. The image was a very inaccurate representation of what I received.
The app is TOO OLD for newer phones....buyer beware!
The Pax 3 vaunts its app. What they don´t tell you is that the app is TOO OLD for newer smartphones. Customer service was abysmal. Basically, they said...yeah, we know and we´´ll update our app EVENTUALLY (their words).
The vaporiser itself is a very nice bit of kit. However, the lack of an app makes the experience less than satisfactory. Note that there is no mention of the out-of-date app in their information which does seem rather fraudulent and misleading which leads one to presume that this lack of concern is company-wide.
