Received a $75 Xbox card from my…

Received a $75 Xbox card from my grandma, but since I had sold my Xbox, I decided to sell the card. After the buyer instructed me to send it and I did, recording the entire transaction, they claimed the card didn't work, despite video evidence proving its validity. Unfortunately, Paxful closed the dispute in favor of the seller without requesting further proof, leaving me without payment for the card I provided. Feeling utterly scammed, I hope this serves as a cautionary tale for others to avoid using Paxful in the future.

This is not for beginners

Opening the help chat icon is not always possible and if you find luckily a way it is just a simple bot. The content is something like a FAQ at reputable locations.
If you decide to leave the plattform and transfer your btc to another wallet it takes massive time - not that what you have been used and expected. Another transfer started from another platform later and done as eval is visible within minutes. The detail display is showing a simple circle. Users, coming from another platform, can not import reputation - you have to start at zero. It did not become transparent to me how/whether your offer is listeted at all.

Got banned when I exposed an scammer

I created an account to sell my cypto, the first buyer I found to trade was a scammer as they marked the trade as payed when it was not. I claimed the trade and paxful banned my account. Now to withdraw my crypto I have to pay a paxful fee on top of the network fee. It is a scam

I am so dissapointed with paxful.Seller are full of scammer.

I am so dissapointed with paxful.
I was scammed 40000yen by the seller in paxful today when buying btc with apple gift card worth 40000yen.
and more frustrating was the seller who was a scammer won the the dispute.
without giving me opportunites to speak with the moderator paxful told that I lost the dispute.
What happened was The situation unfolded during a trade involving a 40000yen apple gift card for BTC with this individual named Norland852. I refrained from opening the Apple gift card until prompted by Norland852 to send a photo. After complying and sending the photo, there was a considerable delay, followed by Norland852 claiming that the gift card had already been redeemed. I found this difficult to believe, as Norland852 was the only person to whom I had provided the photo immediately after breaking the seal on the gift card. Subsequently, Norland852 purportedly reported me, and while awaiting moderation to address the situation, I refrained from reporting him myself, as I was uncertain how to do so. However, Norland852 proceeded to block me, inciting my frustration and prompting me to reciprocate by blocking him as well. To my dismay, I later received notification that Norland852 had won the dispute without even asking me what happened. This outcome confounded me, as Norland852 was the party who had scammed me, and I had not engaged in any discussion with a moderator regarding the matter. It appears likely that Norland852 either utilized the gift card code themselves or distributed it to an associate to redeem, subsequently alleging that I had provided a used code. As a result, I have suffered a loss of 40000 yen.
I even send email to paxful team about the scam that I faced with the seller but they didn't reply my message.
They released the btc to the norland852 who was a scammer and also the scammer norland852 took stole my giftcard code.
Guys please be aware with a seller name NORLAND852 he is a serial scammer.
This is so frustrating.

paxful scam!

Here's a review for Trustpilot:

"I had been using Paxful for many years without any issues until recently. Without any warning or explanation, they froze my account with over $10,000 in it. I've reached out to their support team multiple times, but they haven't provided any satisfactory response. It's incredibly frustrating to have my funds locked up like this, especially after being a loyal user for so long. Beware of using Paxful, as they may freeze your account without warning and leave you in the dark about your funds."

The site is a fraud

The site is a fraud. People in the team are accomplices. They froze my account and took over 1088 dollars worth of my assets. When they unlocked my account, the total of my assets was 0. They don't care about you. All they need is reap you off.

Total scam (as simple as they redeem your gift card and falsely claim it was already redeemed), customer support is supporting scammers

I'd highly suggest checking out the review graph by date before considering this product. It's quite amusing: obvious bot manipulation from May to July 2023, hardly any positive reviews since then

I am utterly appalled by Paxful’s lack of responsibility

I am utterly appalled by Paxful’s lack of compassion and failure to provide any form of compensation for the distressing experience I encountered on their platform. As a first-time user, I expected a level of support and security that was sorely lacking, resulting in significant financial loss and emotional turmoil. Paxful’s disregard for the well-being of its customers is unacceptable, and their failure to take responsibility for the consequences of their platform’s inadequacies is utterly reprehensible. This experience has shattered my trust in Paxful as a reliable service provider. Paxful took no action to rectify this situation and failed to provide the compensation I rightfully deserve.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Tried to sell a google play gift card (£100) at their extortionate BTC rates. Seller claimed the code was already redeemed but it was a fresh code, guranteed unused from paypal gift cards. Google play support confirmed my email did not redeem the code - another email did. The seller, who I remind you has 18000 positive feedback acussed me of trying to cheat when he was the one who redeemed my code. Moderator joined dispute only to award the other person, i am out of £100 and google play support cannot retrieve it because i do not know the persons email.

Even the ones you think can be trusted on this platform will selectively scam new users, the paxful team will side with the long term sellers. Absolutely disgusting.
