Paxful moderators are scams and…

Paxful moderators are scams and pathetic set of humans. They work with the scammers on the website by creating bogus accounts on the Paxful website then they put offers for gift cards. When you initiate a trade with such account they will double load your gift card then tell you the “gift card has been redeemed” when you initiate a dispute against such account you have no chance of winning the dispute because the scam accounts are controlled by Paxful moderators and they will award the scam account the dispute. I repeat Paxful is a scam and the moderators are all full of shit. Paxful moderators enjoy ripping people off

I am currently at risk of losing my…

I am currently at risk of losing my asset in a P2P transaction on Paxful. The buyer marked the order as "paid" without actually making any payment and is pressuring me to click on a suspicious link requiring my Paxful login details to supposedly "receive payment." These fraudulent actions are clearly documented in the P2P chat.

Despite this, Paxful has refused to cancel the order. I sent a detailed email outlining the situation, but I have only received automated responses. The moderator handling the dispute has not carefully reviewed the evidence in the chatbox and instead requested a bank statement and a video, both of which I provided. Unfortunately, the scammer also submitted a forged bank statement, further complicating the issue.

It has been three days, and I feel increasingly frustrated and regret ever using Paxful. I need urgent intervention to resolve this matter and protect my asset.

Paxful: A Cryptocurrency Platform That Steals Your Money and Ignores Your Pleas!

Here's a review of Paxful based on the experiences you've described:

Trustpilot Review for Paxful: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5 stars)

Paxful has proven to be an unreliable and untrustworthy cryptocurrency platform that fails to provide basic customer support or protect its users from potential financial losses. My experience with this platform has been nothing short of frustrating and financially damaging.

Critical Issues:

1. Unresolved Cryptocurrency Theft: Three years ago, I mistakenly transferred BNB (Binance Coin) to their wallet. Despite multiple attempts to recover my funds - including direct communication with both Paxful and Binance - the company has shown complete disregard for resolving the issue. My numerous calls and written communications have been met with silence, effectively resulting in the permanent loss of my cryptocurrency.

2. Lack of User Protection: The platform appears to be a breeding ground for scammers, with absolutely no meaningful recourse for users who fall victim to fraudulent transactions. When I was scammed on their system, Paxful demonstrated a shocking unwillingness to assist in recovering my funds or investigating the fraudulent activity.

These experiences reveal a disturbing pattern of negligence. Paxful seems more interested in collecting transaction fees than protecting its users' financial interests. The complete absence of responsive customer support and commitment to user security makes this platform extremely risky for anyone considering cryptocurrency trading.

My strongest recommendation is to avoid Paxful entirely. The potential for financial loss and the company's apparent indifference to user concerns make it a dangerous platform for any cryptocurrency transaction.

WARNING: Users should exercise extreme caution and seek alternative, more reputable cryptocurrency exchange platforms that prioritize customer support and fund security.

Paxful moderator gave $700 to the Seller without letting me upload my evidence all in less than 30 minutes after seller opened dispute.

I opened a Apple pay trade today 11/24/2024 with a seller "GnarlySnail560". It was a $700 Apple gift card trade , had $400 and $300 Apple gift card. I started screen recording everything from the moment I opened trade and checked balance on the cards and everything. I seller responded saying my cards have no balance. I then checked the cards again but they were not working. Clearly he has redeemed them. He immediately opened a dispute and said I was coin locking and paxful moderator joined trade almost immediately. I stopped screen recording and tried uploading the video but it wouldn't go through, it said file too large. So while I'm on the internet trying to get the video compressed so I can upload my evidence, paxful moderator ruled that the seller won in less than 30 minutes. This is how I was just scammed now and very frustrated, just lost $700. I can't believe I can be scammed like this .

Stolen from twice

I leave a a one star review because I made a trade with a trade partner to sell $150 in bitcoin. And the trade partner basically put $150 into a Veem account and then withdrew the payment afterI released the coin. Instead of refusing the payment until the trader used my PayPal account as we agreed at the beginning of the trade. My lack of experience went with the Veem account not knowing they allowed the depositor to withdraw the deposit and that's exactly what was done after I released the bitcoin.
And when I brought this to Paxful supports attention they did nothing and are still allowing this partner to trade on their platform. And then to top it all off they banned my account last month for no reason and then charged me $30 in bitcoin to close my account. They have been the worst experience ever with bitcoin and would never use again or recommend their platform.

They work with scammers

They work with scammers.
I signed up 2 days ago and transfered money to my wallet, I started a trade and realised the guy is a scammer from Kenya asking me to open links and texting my what's app number, so I changed my password and reported the scamer, after that I saw that they have suspended my account, and I can not access my money. So basically if you don't get scammed, the moderators will steal your money. And their support never answers, where can I sue them legally??? 😓 I have made 8 tickets so far for the admins to help me, but it's been 48 hours and nothing. Don't do my mistake, I will have to evacuate my apartment,
Just because they stole my rent and food money, don't repeat my mistake.
Curse the day that I moved my money from trust wallet to their wallet.
Just check the comments on their Twitter and telegram channel, 20 people get scammed by them daily. This 4.3 is a joke.

Unfair Ban Without Explanation – Avoid Paxful

I had a frustrating experience with Paxful that I believe others should be aware of. After reaching out to clarify the status of my ID verification, I was informed via a generic and impersonal email that my account had been banned permanently. They cited a "substantial violation" of their Terms of Service but refused to specify what the issue was.

The worst part? Paxful stated that I cannot appeal the decision or ask for more details. This leaves users like me in a difficult position—banned without any clear reason and with no chance to address or understand what went wrong.

Transparency is essential, especially when it comes to financial services. Unfortunately, Paxful failed to deliver that and chose to shut the door without any proper explanation. If you're considering using Paxful, be aware that this could happen to you, too.

I hope this review helps others think twice before trusting Paxful with their accounts.

No proper support

Paxful do not have a support email that can be used by there clients or any regulatory companies. This gives them a low rating score. You need to create a support ticket that can only be done if you sign up. Unfortunately this is a very bad business practice.

Terrible Experience – Left Feeling Scammed

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience on Paxful. I attempted to purchase 110 EUR worth of Bitcoin from a seller based in Kenya. Initially, I sent $115.90 via PayPal, but the seller claimed to have received a lesser amount and insisted on canceling and reopening a new trade. When I couldn’t continue on Paxful, he urged me to communicate via WhatsApp, and from there, the ordeal only worsened.

The seller repeatedly asked for additional payments under various pretenses: fluctuating minimum trade amounts, a “network fee,” an “escrow fee,” and even a supposed “Power Trader” promotion that raised his minimum send-out requirement. I sent multiple payments totaling far more than the original amount, yet he continued demanding additional funds, and I never received the BTC.

At this point, I am working with my bank on chargebacks and will have my lawyer review this situation. This entire process has been draining, and I feel completely let down by Paxful’s platform. I urge others to be extremely cautious, as this experience has been anything but transparent or trustworthy.

I was scammed out of $650 by a…

I was scammed out of $650 by a dishonest seller who used deceptive tactics to cheat me. Initially, the seller completed a trade with me using a specific PayPal account. However, after the second trade, they changed their email but kept using the same PayPal account under the same name, attempting to trick me. This was clearly a calculated move to cover their tracks and continue scamming.

What’s worse, when I provided all the evidence, including PayPal's confirmation of the payments, the platform’s moderator ignored the proof and awarded the trade to the seller without thoroughly reviewing the facts. It was extremely frustrating to see the seller get away with it, even though they used underhanded methods like changing their contact email to mislead and scam others.

This seller’s behavior shows a clear intent to deceive, and their actions are a warning for others. If you're considering dealing with them, beware: they have no problem changing details to manipulate transactions.

To make matters worse, it seems like the platform’s moderators aren't doing their due diligence when disputes arise. They didn’t check the full evidence, leaving me to suffer the financial loss. My $650 is gone, and the seller is getting away with it.

Avoid doing business with anyone who engages in shady practices like this. Don’t fall victim to the same scam, my email I have video prof if you need to check

I was scammed out of £200

I was scammed out of £200. It was totally my own stupid fault and I accept that. What I struggle with is there is no way of issuing a compliant to Paxful so the criminal's account can be closed to stop him stealing from anyone else. I realise my money is gone - again, my fault 100%, however it would give me some satisfaction if Paxful would at least black list the thief. His name btw kevin kumanina
