Poor Customer Service

Arranged for a measure up/quote which was very quick to be sorted. They provided samples on the day to pick from and provided a quote based on up front payment followed by 10 monthly payments and then separate fee to be paid to the fitters on the day. Asked if I was happy to proceed. Explained that I had another company coming to quote and I would let them know. Have since sent 2 messages looking to proceed and not had any response back. Seems like if you don't agree on the day they don't want to know!

Best company and very affordable 😃

I had PLC to come and put a carpet on my stairs and landing. Dave and Lewis done a brilliant job. Im so happy. My stairs look posh now. Will definately use PLC again. 😃

Laminate flooring

From the start I was very happy with the customer service so friendly to chat too explained everything, I picked the grey chevron laminate floor for my living room. The fitter Dan was fantastic had my old laminate ripped up and my new laminate flooring down within 3hours cleared up after was so polite and friendly, would highly recommend to everyone. I am extremely pleased with the end result everyone who has come in my home since has commented how beautiful it looks. I would definitely use them again .

I was very reluctant to get carpets…

I was very reluctant to get carpets this way but from start to the fitting date was amazing , the 3 fitters were lovely and have done a lovely job , I am so pleased , cannot fault anything , would defo recommend.

Marc went above and beyond

I cant believe the few reviews about Marc
As my experience with him is he has gone above and beyond. I had an issue with fitting. To which Marc has quickly resolved in more ways than one .
I had some issues with fitting which is not the company's fault as the fitters are self employed. But this company has resolved the issue I had quickly . From my first contact with Marc he has always kept me up to date with everything. And has more
than apologised over the fitting issue which I can say has been resolved .
So any negative comments are not reflected at Marc or the company .
I will be using them again for bathroom flooring . From start to finish my contact with Marc has been spot on and who is a genuine guy .

Awful attitude from this company Mark…

Awful attitude from this company Mark is an absolute disgrace lies are unbelievable,
Had a home visit by mark for measuring and quote for flooring wanted to add on a hall way he came back out and measured said they would amend the invoice all I need to do was remove hall tiles and let Jason know I was ready for a date to fit,
Lads turned up to fit floor,
But no floor For hall,
So they called Jason and told him of the issue said someone would ring back
When they called tried to charge half the price of the lounge which is a fraction of the size then mark rang back and said I was a liar and it was 170 not 200 pounds and he was in the office when I got the call, Jason said he didn’t remember the conversation about adding a he hall on but arranged the date on the phone,
Absolute chaos couldn’t run a business if they tried, also Mark threatened to come round to my house and didn’t bother to show what kind of man is this running a business, the exact flooring is in B&Q that they made out it was ordered from a supplier
What ever he calls himself the company are a farce he fully knows he messed up as why did he come out and measure the hall if I wasn’t supposed to get it fitted the same time and Jason didn’t seem interested or was distracted but you keep doing what you’re doing as you have lost a customer who was going to get more work done, but thanks I have saved myself a lot of money bought it from B& Q and paid a lot less so did me a big favour

Alison, as you were advised during the multiple phone calls last week on your fitting day, you have never actually placed any order with us for your hall. As you can see clearly from your original paperwork, you have only purchased flooring for your lounge which our fitter attempted to install on the agreed date. We had fulfilled our side of the agreement fully and make no apology for any error on our part.
You did make a later enquiry about flooring for your hall and our surveyor (who is called Paul not Mark as we have reminded you on many occasions) did re-attend your property a second time to measure and quote for this area, but advised you that your tiles would need to be removed before we could provide any flooring for that area. This visit was left with you stating "I'll think about it" and you have never contacted us regarding this again until our fitter arrived to install your lounge. You have never placed any order for your hall as we could not and would not have accepted an order for flooring we couldn't install due to your tiles! and if you have since removed your tiles, you have never contacted us to progress any increase to your original order. On no occasion did Paul say he would "amend the invoice" as we do not operate this way as we are a legitimate company and adhere to all legal requirements so can not just "amend the paperwork" in your absence. You would have needed to complete new paperwork and sign a new credit agreement for the increased cost etc which you didn't do, so we have no idea why you would assume your original order had been changed when you had no new invoice, credit agreement or proof of purchase.
Jason our fitting manager was correct to say he didn't know anything about your hall order as it had never been placed, and the date he provided you with was for the fitting of your lounge, which you did place an order for.
We can only assume that you are confused about the whole matter as again, at no time have we ever quoted the random amount of £200 for flooring for your hall as based on the measurements, it would not have been that amount and you were told by a team member, while Paul was sat next to her, that the amount would have been £170 should you wish the hall to be added to your order.
We take great exception to your statement that the surveyor "threatened to come round to your house". This is very dangerous and incorrect language to use when the truth is, that Paul offered to call back out to you with our office copy of your paperwork to explain the costs and areas ordered to you to try to clarify your misunderstanding. In no way did he threaten you and Paul is highly offended by your insinuation and slur against his character. This is a public forum and to make such allegations is libellous.
Given your aggressive attitude on the phone and your unwillingness to discuss the matter in a calm and rational manner on the day, the decision was made by ourselves to cancel your order fully, instruct the fitter to stop installing your original order (lounge) and to refund all payments made to date as it was evident that the relationship had broken down and as a company, we are no longer comfortable to offer our services to you.
With regard to the product, the manufacturer / our suppliers sell to multiple flooring companies, and we have never claimed to be the only company selling this product (B&Q may well be include in this list) so I am unsure what you are suggesting regarding the fact that we order our products from a manufacturing supplier and I'm unsure where-else you would thing we buy them from? I can certainly assure you that we don't buy our products from B&Q to then sell on, as this would not be a cost effective way for us to operate, to buy in at retail prices???
I hope this response has in some way, clarified your multiple misunderstandings and corrected the incorrect information and statements made in your review, and we wish you well.

Girl on phone is sooo condescending 🤣…

Girl on phone is sooo condescending 🤣 ended up cancelling my appointment as on the first phone call upon booking, I was told he could go away and we could discuss what we want and decide at a later date if we wanted to go through with it and get a quote for whatever one we pick at a later date. phoned again today to say I’d been called into work and my nan would be there instead and the girl told me I had to be there to pick the carpets after telling me I could go away and decide the last time and then basically said I was lying about what she said🤣 if she meant that last time, then she clearly didn’t understand what I was asking and answered it incorrectly… I wouldn’t of booked with them if I couldn’t decide on it at a later date when my partner is home from work. So condescending on the phone acting as if I was stupid instead of apologising for making the mistake:/ getting booked in with someone else now! In the first call her tone of voice should have been a red flag to me instantly tbh, get a new receptionist 👍

Absolutely over the moon with our new…

Absolutely over the moon with our new laminate.. we chose the “honey oak”

The service was quick and efficient

The service was quick and efficient. Carpets great but fitting not so good. Left me unable to open doors and just let. Mark the agent was quick to organise a joiner. Jon to come around he was amazing with his helper both deserve 10 stars definitely recommend maybe not fitter

Great service n great staff

What can I say about this company. Well the minute the fellas turned up they was lovely and very friendly.. the min they got into the flat they got right too work and they done a fantastic job.. hands down too them… great service great staff hands down… I’d deffo recommend them to any of my friends

Brilliant company

I’ve used this company for over 2 years now they’ve fitted all of my flooring, 6 rooms in total & each time has been brilliant, the floors always immaculate and the staff from the call centre with bookings to the fitters are always so polite and super helpful, I will continue to use this company & will continue to recommend them to friends & family.

Awful fitting

Fitters came to fit the floor, damaged the property and left without telling me what he done. Would'nt bother again if thats how they treat peoples homes.

Jasmine, as you are aware from our conversations, we were more than happy to fully investigate your complaint, as our fitter of 10 years disputes the damage on the basis that the flooring fitted was vinyl which requires no hammering or forceful effort or heavy tools to install which could have cracked your wall tile in this way. If found to be responsible for the alleged damage, we would, of course have arranged for repair work to be completed to a satisfactory level. As we explained, we would need the contact details of your landlord as this issue was relating to fixtures and fittings of the property and not to your personal items, and as such, it would be your landlord that we would need to liaise with. Unfortunately, you have decided not to provide this information and instead have cancelled your direct debit with us, stating that you have now paid for the repair to be completed yourself, and feel that the cost of this repair will off set your remaining outstanding balance, due to us without any due discussion. We would therefore appreciate it if you could send a photo of the completed repair works and copy of your invoice for this to us, to allow us to discuss this matter further with our accounts team. Wouldn't use anybody else

Cant fault this company I've been a customer for years now everything from the phone call to book in the fella that comes to measure up and the fitters all decent people spot on company wouldn't go anywhere else
