This company is a con

This company is a con. Was visiting Scotland and parked in Loch Lomond Shores (shopping centre) for an hour. I saw no signs that the car parking was charged and received a letter on returning home saying I was fined £60. I checked online and saw there was £1.50 charge for up to two hours parking. So I went to pay it and the charge had risen to £100. Why? Because the payment was now over 14 days since I parked. However, I don't live in Scotland and their letter didn't arrive in 14 days.

They are a con. I saw no signs at the car park saying it was a pay carpark.

Got sent a fine

Got sent a fine, received the letter after the 14 day discount date, so ended up paying £100, plus £1.50 administrative costs. Will not be parking in their carparks again.

This is outright theft — a blatant grab and quick daylight robbery.

This company issued a parking charge against my vehicle, even though it was displaying a valid Blue Badge. They placed no warning signs or notices on the vehicle, nor did they send any written notification before passing the alleged debt to “Trace Dept Recovery”.

They are now demanding £170 for what was originally a £60 charge. We have tried calling them many times — no one ever answers the phone. We have sent written communication, but they do not respond at all.

How can a cowboy company like this be allowed to operate without any oversight? Is there no authority to hold them accountable?

May you be cursed for robbing people like that.

Really nasty set up

Really nasty set up. I went to pay the fine - doing the right thing. It was for very briefly parking - under 10 mins, to pick up a car part purchase in an empty industrial estate. The only notice I received came 6 weeks later with two identical letters, perhaps in the hope that I would pay twice, and threaten an increase in the fine because I was outside the 28 days payment window. The website even lists apparent past CCJs of past clients as an extra little jab. It is like it is laughing in your face. I pay fines with good will if I have done something wrong, but this is a slap in the face on top. If I had the time and money and inclination I would divert my energies to making a YouTube channel which questions miserable low life operators like this. No class.

Scammers, incredibly poor business

As people have said, scam artists who refuse to engage professionally with appeals. What's worse, I paid my PCN, money taken from my bank but they have not 'received it'. Now they want more money and continue fines, court threats. The advice is to contact them but call center is just an endless automated waiting room. Scammers.

Parking vultures

Parking vultures that prey on people just going about their daily business. Extortionate and disproportionate fines, miniscule signage. If a Private Business uses this company to enforce ridiculous parking rules then, in my opinion, they should be boycotted for life.

Disgraceful, inhuman, heartless people

As other people very rightly mentioned in the reviews this is a heartless, inhuman, disgusting corporation who fine people just for the sake of it.

1st PCN: I parked in the vacant spot next to my assigned parking in my private block where I live which no one uses and got a fine.

2nd PCN: After parking in my own spot this time I parked slightly outside the white marked bay.

In my own parking spot which I pay with my rent.

In this day and age where everyone is trying to make ends meet in this country you have people like this. So sad.

Another wrongful fine.

I paid by cash (no change given of course) as there was no pay by card facility; I displayed my ticket in the windscreen. I was surprised therefore to receive a parking fine notice! Fortunately I had kept the ticket so have appealed and will refuse to pay. Yes, the Government really does need to act on this.

Parking control management (UK) Ltd…SCAMMERS

Parking control management (UK) Ltd (PCM) aware scammers. Provided valid parking permit on dash of car still received raw ticket. Appealed it online, but they responded via post NOT online refused the appeal and charged a further amount ass thy stated in their letter that they previously sent a letter to refuse it, of which I never received. Why don’t they respond via email, that way it’s documented? Scammers! Had a valid permit no point keep appealing with these people they’ll only make it worse and end up in court with them! The Goverment need to regulate these private car park companies that lie and cheat the by-pass the system!

PC25342526.

PC25342526.
I got ticketed while a very small portion of my car was intruding into a no parking area due to a badly parked car in front (intruding into part the bay I had parked). My appeal was rejected and they made no reference to the fact that I rose regarding the timing;
I was in the car at the time and the online evidence showed that my car was parked there for less than 3 minutes (my understanding is that anything above 10 minutes is Athena limit to get a ticket)!!!?
