While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

PayPal confiscates funds

🚨 PayPal seized my funds after holding them for more than 2 years 🚨

I had funds frozen in my PayPal Colombia account for over 2 years. According to PayPal’s own policy, funds should be held a maximum of 180 days before being released.

After waiting patiently and contacting customer support many times, PayPal has now told me that my money will not be released. Instead, they claim it was used to cover “losses” supposedly caused by accounts linked to me – but they have provided no proof.

This is abusive, arbitrary, and unacceptable.

I demand:

A formal explanation with evidence of these alleged “losses.”

The immediate release of my funds.

Otherwise, I will escalate this case to the Financial Superintendency of Colombia and other consumer protection entities.

@PayPal – Customers deserve transparency and fair treatment, not confiscation of their money.
