Been using the paypoint near to me for…

Been using the paypoint near to me for many years without any problems. However, after receiving our yearly water bill found after contacting paypoint that 6 consecative months of £5.00 weekly payments, paying with the same card that no payments were received. Other payments made at alternative pay point providers were accepted. Contacted our water provider as none of the payments that were accepted were not taken of the bill, nor did they have any record of these payments until i emailed confirmation from payment. What the hell is going on?

I wish the government can help us…

I wish the government can help us combat these paypoint fraudsters. We customers are placed in a position that's so hard because of these pay points thieves. We are directly put into debts un knowingly. how pathetic is this? Pay point your days are numbered you have to pay us what you owe us. We are so damn tired of being robbed in a broad day light. We are gonna carry out demonstrations against your company so as justice can be served. Enough is enough. For some reason I feel this is an inside job. But fair enough we also have our rights to fight against your deceptiveness. I call upon people reading this to stand your ground and demand for answers. We need to stamp this vice out. You are horrible people and you shall pay for your misdeeds that I promise you. Lets sue paypoint. Pay us back our money we are extremely tired.

"Wendy Ashcroft"

"Wendy Ashcroft" - one of the area representatives for paypoint is the most incompetent, unprofessional, awful individual I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with!! Rude, unreliable, dishonest the list goes on! As for Paypoint itself, a rubbish company to be honest. Always get through to a call centre with people who have no idea on your query and also don't care at all. Good luck to anyone dealing with Wendy and/or Paypoint

Thieves

Mr Ben Dodwell Territory Development Manager

When we signed the contract in September 2018 you told us it was a 24 month contract.
We asked at the time for 12 or 18 month contract and you said in front of my wife and I that the shortest contract was 24 months.
We have now been told its a 5 year contract.
There is no way on earth we would of signed up for a five year contract to any supplier let alone a card terminal supplier.
We have been lied to, Like other people going by your Facebook page …!
When you said just sign the forms as you were short on time and would fill the forms out for us back at the office we now know why…
We have contacted the NFRN and are now seeking the termination of the PayPoint supply in our shop.
We will be starting our own Facebook page for people who have also been duped by PayPoint aggressive sale tactics and you will be named on it.

Yours sincerely
Mr & Mrs Woods

I was retailer

I was retailer, I sold my shop 2 years ago and went abroad, I cleared payments, informed paypoint by email. And they advised me leave terminal at shop so new owner can take over.
I signed 5 years contact.when I bought shop. there was 2 years remaining on contract.
When new owner apply they asked another 5years contract@£50+vat. While my original contract was £20+vat.
So new owner didn't took. Now they put ccj against me. For 2 years contact, terminal, total £2k. this company robing retailers.
They did cut commission during contract in 2015.if contract is 2years remaining than why they ask another 5 years to sign at higher price.
Don't take any contract from paypoint.stay away.

I m a retailer and I have a Paypoint service

I m a retailer and I have a Paypoint terminal the paypoint charged me £180 which was there own error and they accepted it and I was advised that they will put money back into my account which never happened I will not advise any retailer to have Paypoint service in their shop as there is no way you can have a profit you always lose in short Paypoint steals money from account.

Totally useless

After checking on Paypoint's website where I could topup a swift card I found 2 local stores that offered the service. Only to find that when I asked in both stores to top up my card that the shop keepers refused (one even had the swift card logo in their window). Why do Paypoint advertise services at stores that will not provide the services? Do they even check if retailers offer what they advertise?

Joke

I have been trying to get through to these for over 2 hours now with nothing but a recorded message. I topped up at my local paypoint to put my gas on and was given a receipt with said the payment was successful yet when looking on my energy app I can see that the payment has been voided straight after. I have been back to the shop who have said it's nothing to do with them so I have ro contact paypoint which would be ok if they had a number that actually allowed you to speak to a human rather than a answerphone

Company dont care about the retailers…

Company dont care about the retailers that use the service. If a product doesnt load they will still charge you. If a direct debit fails its a £90 fine even if you provide evidence of a bank error. I have three sites with them, they know as a retailer you dont have any other provider to turn to, so they dont care about your custom they just want as money as they can get from you. I had one ustailation when the machine didnt work propertly for 3 months they sent me 4 new machines before one worked but i was still charge £105 a month for the machine that didnt work. I emailed a complaint still waiting for a response 9 months on. Called to chases it up was told someone will get back to me. I lf a new provider that offered the same service came on the market paypoint would go bust in a week.

Chronic from a customers point of view

Chronic from a customers point of view. Their website is useless when trying to find retailers... you'd think denoting 24 hour stores would be an important feature. Nobody answers the phone. Most of the retailers are annoyed with how much they charge so refuse card payments. If you can, avoid!!
