Forums were not the best

Last visited around the time, now Techadvisor, closed the forums. They were probably the only ones where the Forum Editor who administered them could also visibly take part in discussions. He took apparent delight in chastising anyone with opposing views and did not accept when he was wrong. His pro-China views and pedantry also ruffled a few feathers.

The way the forum was being run in my opinion helped lead to its demise. Some members moved to other forums.

Not a place if you are Open-Minded

Not a place if you are open-minded; the members are of the Xenophobic and Racist variety.

If you're the sort that think Immigrants ruined Britain then this is the site for you.

The Forum Editor does try to keep things in order but the mindset he is surrounded by means some extremely offensive posts go through.

Unfortunately the web site has…

Unfortunately the web site has deteriorated over the years to a pop up site. Close one window and a dozen pop up. it is impossible to read the reviews as the pages flick up and down like a brides nightie.

Speakers corner is run by a dictator.Either agree with him or be instantly banned. You have to bite your tongue before posting any innocuous posting. It has descended into posts of mundane drivel and I have finally given up and left for more usable web informations sites.

The web site depends on advertising revenue to pay for it. The way it is going it will not be long before even those advertisers leave the sinking ship.

The forums are overseen by an …

The forums are overseen by an overbearing, puffed up, egocentric prat who acts like an old-fashioned headmaster dictating what and what cannot be said. In the Speakers Corner forum he cheats in debating and often takes sides with his sycophantic followers instead of being impartial. There are many lurking non-participants too worried they'll be humiliated (which he enjoys doing) if they took part.

Web page resors hogs a top of the range surfacebook.

Forget loading pages, the amount of resource heavy advertising and clutter wont run and bogs down a top of the range laptop.

if they do load and not crash the browser, Once your passed the forced video advert with audio blaring from your pc, the pages look like a first attempt dancing baby gif animated mess from the 90's.

Blocked these pages now.
