Quality build, exceeded expectations

The company's sales consultant was quick to respond and attentive to the customer's questions and special application needs. The store offers quite a flexible and insightful laptop PC purchase configurator on their website. A larger variety of hardware components could potentially be accommodated in the configurator but the sales team prefers dealing with what their testers recommend after thorough performance evaluation. Customers select from what is known to work well but do still have an opportunity to find something matching their exact needs and budget.

I bought a PC for my significant other and used PCspecialist.se to pick parts.

Price was decent, I had Windows licenses from earlier computers that I could use.

I selected no Operative system
On the question "What OS will you install" I chose.
Windows 11 Home 64bit.
When PC arrived they had pre installed a blank Windows 11 Pro 64bit.
CD-key did not work.
No issue, Ill just go into bios and wipe the whole PC and install it myself from my flashdrive.

BIOS does not work.
I do some research and I find out. PCSpecialist lock their bios settings on the PC's without informing the customer before the purchase while simultaneously installing the wrong operative system.

All of a sudden I am locked out of installing a fresh Windows 11 Home edition and I have to purchase a new CD-key to fit the error.

I probably could have fixed it by contacting customer support and forcing them to guide me how to unlock it. But nobody got time for that.

First and last purchase from this vendor, its complete trash.

The reason I bought from them in the first place was the ability to customize a PC for my partners needs, but yeah. Its trash, I also read other reviews about the customer service being trash. Which I cannot confirm myself, but considering they lock you out of everything that has to do with the motherboard. I wouldnt be surprised if they told me to f-off if I wrote to them.

For my work I purchased a brand new PC. When the PC arrived it did not function at all. Therefore I contacted the support service. Since then I have been asked to do a battery test, check connectors etc, which I did and nothing.. then they said they would send a PSU for me to attempt a repair myself (under the risk to void the warranty). I did not accept that. Now they offer a rebuilt PC but with inferior GPU. It is just frustrating.
They said the issue could have been in transportation but to be honest, I question that they really tested the PC before delivery. It has now been one month since the purchase and I still do not have a PC for work. The problem has not been solved how it should have. This has affected my work and is taking so much time from me. What a pity!

First class builds, really competitive prices, superb support. I've been a customer for about 25 years and have recently purchased my 6th gaming rig. Very happy again

The possibility to custom build my own laptop on my own terms at a fraction of the cost of going to mainstream suppliers. Same components, same garanties and warranties, was the deciding point.
I'd say i got my PC for almost 50% from the big 5 suppliers. The only downside was the delivery that took some time, but if i'd gone to D"## it would have taken atleast as long to get my new custom laptop.

Great PC assembly. This was my first time buying an assembled PC and it was quite easy and the whole experience reduces the stress of making a mistake with the expensive PC components. 5 stars.

Apart from some delays in the build, the PC itself was absolutely gorgeous, easy to install and configure.
Especially appreciated the back and forth from the company and the customer support.

Really really great service. Easy to configure and compare stuff. Great delivery time with careful testing by them and continous status updates of the construction process and shipping process. I got in contact with a super friendly Danish guy at their support chat before placing my order and he answered tons of questions, was cheerful and like speaking to a friend. I told him it was by far the best support contact I've ever had with a company. Thanks to him I got comfortable in knowing my custom build was going to work out great. And it did. Recommended!

I have been shopping from PC Specialist in the past with great experience. It breaks my heart a little bit to not give 5 stars, but this time things didn't go smooth.

I bought a mini PC. Installed Windows 11 and noticed it was missing a bunch of drivers. I searched the web site but no drivers to be seen. I contacted supported asking for the drivers but got dull response. Pretty dissapointed I searched the internet and found some drivers but not all. I must have installed more than 200 drivers. Support throw different drivers at me that weren't helping. Eventually I got two drivers from them that helped. The rest I had to sort out of my own. If I ever have to reinstall Windows I'll be dealing with the same nightmware again.

Selling a hardware without having the actual drivers should not be allowed and lacks professionalism. I'm still waiting for a complete set of drivers. If I ever get that then I'll forgive them for this nightmware experinece.

Other than that, this vendor is usually very skilled and helpful. Hopefully things will work out better in the future.

i am very dissatisfied with the delivered PC. The reason:

I ordered a PC without an operating system!

You have installed Windows to test the hardware, but have not uninstalled it anymore. This would have to be thoroughly uninstalled!

So now I have significant problems installing Linux (Ubuntu). It is hindered by installations of Windows in UEFI and I can not find the solution.

I ask for help on this.

Nice and clean build (and good cable management), which makes it easy to upgrade in the future.

It was really quick, reliable and informative during the whole process.
The computer looks really consistent and I have had no problems so far.
Everything is going very smoothly :)

Good communication and step by step updates on progress until it was shipped.

Pc arrived and worked without issue!

Bought a custom PC from them 2 years ago and it’s been a pleasure dealing with them from the very beginning. Recently my hard drive got damaged (possibly due to cold weather in my house this winter) so I contacted them for advice. they informed me that I’m still under warranty and are arranging collection for my PC so that they can replace the broken parts. the support team is great and replies to emails very quickly

From the moment I made the order to this day and beyond, I could not be more pleased with PCSpecialist for building my PC for me.

I have had zero issues booting up and installing all the programs and games I want. Everything is running smoothly and perfectly.

The PC was made quickly but not without quality control and shipped without a scratch in a timely manner.

I would highly recommend buying from PCSpecialist, thank you to everyone involved!

We were sent a laptop with faulty hinges that were never assembled properly. Both my husband and I chased them to resolve, at which we were told that we have to pay for returns etc.
THEN we were told couriers were sent to deliver packing materials to return the laptop for inspection, this never happened. Couriers never even came to our residence.

We are left with a €2000 laptop that is not usable and we cannot take it to a local repair store as this voids warranty! A shame as the sales process was good. They took our money, delivered a substandard product and take no responsibility for right to repair.

I will be informing Konsumentverket.
