Their price match promise only applies to anyone with the same terms and conditions therefore as every companies terms and conditions are different then they will only ever match the price of their own group !!!!!!!
7 day repair guarantee is a lie the 7 days starts from the day the engineer turns up 14 days after reporting the fault they should be ashamed of their adverts
Worst place on the planet
Worst place on the planet, ordered an sd card for click and collect, 3 to 5 days delivery is what it told me, 3 weeks later they cancelled my order. had called to the store twice in the 3 weeks, emailed them twice and phoned them twice. The lady on the phone the first call which was about a week and a half in told me there was a delay with customs that it will be in store the following afternoon, they wouldn't reply to my emails just an automated email saying they were on the case and they know waiting is a pain, I had bought it on amazon for cheaper in the meantime and have it up and running but I was determined to wait it out and see how long it was going to take and they just cancelled my order, what a bad service if you could call it that.why do I have to leave a 1 star rating. Why can't I leave a no star rating because that is what they deserve.
Zero stars
We bought a Kenwood fridge worth 550 euros from Curry’s, supposed to have 10 years parts guarantee. Broke after 2 years, system fault with the compressor. There was one person on the customer service desk in Curry’s, and three on the sales desk. Guess where the massive queue was. I’ll give you a guess it wasn’t in Sales. They didn’t even offer a discount on a new fridge. I was amazed at the lack of customer service skills/ empathy/ any redress. When we explained we’d an engineer who looked at the machine, gave us documentation to confirm the fault and said that Currys should fix it as it was a machine system issue in the building of the machine the customer service guy said “what do you expect me to do for you today” which I knew from the offset meant he was going to do nothing. He then confirmed he would do nothing. Kenwood said they would do nothing on the phone. Went to their competitor instead and spent 1.5k there on a fridge, freezer and drier, Curry’s won’t get my money again in a hurry and my in laws were going to shop there today but heard of our experience and thought better to go elsewhere too. I’ve always had so much better customer service when buying other electrical items in other shops or when anything went wrong with such items so was surprised at just how atrocious customer service was in Curry’s. Both of us stayed calm, didn’t lose our tempers but walked out of the place feeling like we’d been treated like dirt.
Terrible customer service from…
Terrible customer service from purchase in store to delivery , to non collection of old appliances paid for in advance . To poor snd negative response to the point of making it difficult to contact store directly.
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. Advertised 5 free months of apple tv+ when purchasing phone. Three months later, and nothing. Every time I get on to them they act like it's the first time I have tried. Completely useless and not any cheaper than anywhere else.
I would prefer to give zero stars
I ordered a PC online for delivery to a Currys store for collection. The item was lost. Currys did not initiate any communication and I had to chase the order repeatedly via phone and webchat. Despite being advised that the matter would be resolved in 7-14 working days, this deadline was not met and Currys refused to cancel the order or give a refund. After 21 working days, still no progress and I had to recover my money through my bank. Absolutely appalling service from Curry's.
Trust worthy company
Again we ordered from currys and again fantastic service ! Good commutation, quick service, friendly helpful drivers/deliverers. You know when it will come, even a phone call to say what time they arrive. We are always happy to order from them online and will do again in the future.

Absolute disaster
Absolute disaster, sitting waiting for delivery.
Eventually got through to call centre in South Africa after holding for 53 minutes, (I’m based in Republic of Ireland). Told delivery date now 5th December!!!, no text message, no email, no call.I asked why we were not notified, reply ‘their very busy’.My time is valuable too.
No disrespect to lady answering call but she was like a parrot “sorry nothing I can do.When I asked to speak to a manager,I was told they were all at a meeting, standard lie as far as I’m concerned
If I cancel order, have to wait up to 5 days to get my money back.
DON’T BUY FROM CURRYS UNLESS YOUR TAKING IT WITH YOU.BAD CUSTOMER BEFORE ITEMS DELIVERED, WHAT WILL IT BE FOR AFTER SALES SERVICE
Number 1 worst customer service…
Number 1 worst customer service experience. I'd never buy from currys again.
Very poor delivery service
Very poor delivery service
Do delivery early morning when all at work.
So you have to take off and wait.
And not able to bring inside the house, refused even try.
Very bad service
Never buy again from Currys
I bought a Kenwood fridge freezer just…
I bought a Kenwood fridge freezer just over a year ago. The internal light failed. I looked in the manual and it said that a technician would have to be called out to fix it. I called Currys and said that I was not happy. They put me through to various departments and eventually they said they would open a complaints case. This was nearly 2 weeks ago. I phoned up and they said it was on its way, but still no sign. When I phoned up they said that a call out would be £119 plus cost of parts £37. So still waiting for my case.
Order online a tv
Order online a tv. The staff member was rude. Didn't say hello just asked the for ref number. Took a while to find it. Then we looked at headsets and asked for help to find the price as not marked up. Found a member of staff and was told to wait at a sign for new pcs etc. Waited for time minutes no one came to us so we gave up. On walking out of the store. We saw two members of staff just taking. And then 5 staff at the tills taking too not bothered about customers at all.

Amazing customer service from walking into store to delivery of our goods. Highly recommend !
Sharp practice at Curry's
Sharp practice at Curry's, Mahon Point, Cork
I was not given the TV set that l had selected, but a cheaper one. When I hesitated about taking out insurance, the assistant said he'd reduce the insurance price by adjusting the TV price. He also charged me for a small item I hadn't asked for. Unusual accounting practices to say the least. I do not trust Curry's and will not shop there again.
Setting new standards of terrible…
Setting new standards of terrible customer service. Webchat/phone line an utter waste of time. Very inflexible service and attitude to replacing a faulty, in-warranty product. It’s a wonder they are still in business.
Service is awful
Service is awful. Over an hour to place Order as their system has a problem- not mentioned anywhere of course.
Another hour spent getting proof of purchase/guarantee
Upteem e mails later customer service (ha ha) offered £5 goodwill then zero and then £10.
Zero value shown for customers.
I should have learnt not ordered since fridge freezer debacle. Won’t make that mistake again
I purchased an HP laptop from Currys…
I purchased an HP laptop from Currys just over a year ago. It broke very quickly, but was repaired eventually. This time, the laptop was over a year old and the power was zero. The repair guy who was seriously over-worked spotted the issue within seconds. The charger was bent, and in fact was probably the wrong one. A very quick fix sorted that, a very happy less stressed customer.
Don’t fall for PC World false advertising
Yesterday morning I ordered and paid for a TV online at Curry’s pc world, advert stating PICK UP WITHIN THE HOUR! as a birthday gift. Waited for an email as advised for pick up time, no email arrived. Drove 30 minutes to the store to pick up the TV. Assistant said we have 13 of those TV in the store but you can’t have one. Why I asked. We haven’t received the email to release your TV, but here’s my order number on email. Sorry we need it to come through to the store? Myself and my husband went for a meal and returned to the store at 15:00. Customer service assistant said they were having problems within the system and still couldn’t release the TV. He rang round and said I can issue a refund back to your card, which would take 5 to 7 working days to clear. I could then purchase a tv today to take away now. I asked for a credit note as I was at the store then I could buy the tv straight away. Sorry it doesn’t work like that.
So after wasting a day waiting for an email, I have no present for my son. I’m very upset, disappointed and shocked at the way you treat your customers. It’s my money you're holding and I have nothing to show for it. I sent an email yesterday to Mark Jones Managing Director at Currys PC World Business and also resent to Alex Baldock Group Chief Executive Officer. I thought I would at leat have a response. Unfortunately these days customer’s don’t count for a lot!
