Unauthorized Charges After Cancellation
PDFAid appears to engage in deceptive billing practices.
I subscribed for a one-time use and canceled my subscription, yet I was still charged repeatedly without my consent. These charges are unauthorized.
Furthermore, I was asked to provide partial card details (first 6 digits and last 4 digits) in order to process cancellation. This is highly inappropriate and raises serious security concerns.
Although I have now received confirmation that my subscription has been canceled and a refund has been issued, I am still waiting for the funds to be reflected in my account.
I have reported this matter to my bank and initiated a chargeback for all unauthorized transactions. I will keep this process active until the full refund is successfully received.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this service.
One of the biggest issues is the lack of user control within the platform. There is no clear or reliable option to cancel the subscription directly, and no option to remove or delete saved payment methods from the account. This is unacceptable for any service handling billing information.
Users should have full control over their subscriptions and payment details without needing to contact support or go through unnecessary steps. The absence of these basic features makes the entire process feel restrictive and concerning.
