I accidentally subscribed to pdfzone when wanting to convert a word file under time pressure. I did not realize that this trial would automatically transform into a monthly subscription of 40$/months without me actively ending it. Two years later, I spent almost 1000$ without ever using it. I contacted pdfzone asking if they could reimburse the amount spent without any use, but they did not even consider making a step in my direction. I wish that like any other serious companies they would have been more understanding. My advise is to be extremely wary if you ever use their platform for trial.

I used this site to buy one PDF to edit and download for 0.50 euro, but 24 hours later I was charged 49.70 euros! NEVER WAS IT STATED THAT THEY WOULD DO SUCH. Never even made an account. I used this site for one pdf,paid 0.50 euro for this. After 24 hours I got charged for 49.70 € !!!!! I cancelled subscription but I don’t see refund! I don’t want this premium monthly plan!!! I don’t used it ! Please refund me my money! PDFZONE COULD YOU DO THIS?

Tell you its 50p to edit a pdf then stealthy charge a £49.70 monthly subscription (who would agree to that for a pdf editor). Contacting bank and police.

I have never agreed to monthly subscription and I was charged 50€ (!!) for subscription that I don’t have an access to and don’t use at all.I tried to contact their customer 1 minute after I noticed that they charged me and try to explain them that it was a mistake.They do refuse to collaborate and they refuse to charge me my money back.It is A SCAM and shady business!

There was an issue with my file and I couldn’t get it opened and I had to demand a refund because of some 14 day policy. But in the end I got my refund but all in all an unpleasant process with no payoff or product but at least I got the refund at the end :/

I wish I had read the reviews of pdfzone.net before paying my 50 cents for a pdf conversion. As many have described, their business model is clearly to entice customers into inputting their credit card details in order to pay for a pdf conversion, and then to help themselves every month to €29.90. They claim that it is not possible to pay the 50 cents without agreeing to a monthly subscription, but I am certain that this was not the case when I made that initial purchase.
I have kept both emails concerning the purchase of the 50 cent conversion. Now, 9 months later, I priced the charges on my credit card and tried to log in using the email and password supplied ( in order to access the conversion that I purchased), but it turned out my email address was not even recognised as a user. Until now, I have never before come across an honest online company which insists on charging for a service which is not accessible and which has never been used!

I have written asking for a full refund but I have not heard back from customer services since my last contact with them more than 24 hours ago.

This is a rip off organisation. About 6 weeks ago I happily agreed to pay them EUR 0.50 to convert a file. Two days later they debited my account with EUR 29.90 without my authorisation and debited another EUR 29.90 a month later, again without my authorisation. My bank tells me I must have agreed to a monthly subscription but I haven’t. My bank is going to try and get my money back. Plus I’ve had to cancel my existing debit card to stop them taking anymore money without authorisation. And I’m now without a debit card until the new one arrives. What a hassle!
And pdfzone needn’t bother replying to this review; if they do I won’t engage any further with this awful company. I just want to warn other people not to fall into their trap.

This site is using sneaky behaviour to literally steal your money from your card. I agreed to pay 0.5 EURO and two days after they took additional 40 EUROS from my credit card. I never agreed nor authorized the 40 EUROS payment. I never created an account on their site and I never agreed to any subscription.

These are thieves, not honest people. Be aware, or you may loose quite a lot of money, depending on how often you check your expenses on your credit card.

I would not recommend this site.
Like others I expected to pay just the €50/ 43p but an additional £25.66 was taken from my account without my knowledge. I have tried to see if I have unwittingly signed to subscribe to any agreement but cannot find an unsubscribe button and have filled in an email form on the site to ask about this but have not had a reply.
All very worrying that more money may be taken.

This is a scam. Do not under any circumstance purchase from this app as they will invoice you for 30 Euros versus the 0.50 you agree with.

I am very satisfied with the conversion services of this site, as well as with the speed of the services. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE USE OF THE SITE'S SERVICES

It seems that they sneak in an automatic subscription and withdraw money on your card some days later in the hope that you do not notice. I noticed and now have to change my credit card. What a hazzle.
