I recently attended Vol.08

I recently attended Vol.08 - 'CHAOS' at Strange Brew, and it was an absolutely fantastic evening! The event, organised by Team CHAOS at Strange Brew, was a whirlwind of creativity and thought-provoking presentations.
The format, PechaKucha, with its 20 slides in 20 seconds, kept the pace energetic and engaging. I was particularly impressed by the diverse range of speakers, including Emma, Ioto, Travis, Kesia, Farrah, Sam, Rosie, and Peter. Each presented unique perspectives and passionate insights on the theme of 'CHAOS.'
The fact that the event video and photos were promptly shared on Instagram and LinkedIn, and that all the talks are available on the international PechaKucha site, shows a real commitment to accessibility and sharing the experience. It's great that I can re-watch the talks and share them with friends who missed out.
The atmosphere at Strange Brew was electric, and it was clear that the event was a huge success. The positive feedback already circulating on social media is well-deserved.
Team CHAOS at Strange Brew put on a truly memorable event. If you're looking for an evening of inspiration and intellectual stimulation, I highly recommend attending their future events. (Next one is 'ALMOST' June 10th)..
Thank you for a brilliant night!

Boring talks overall, would not try again.

The selection of speakers was just not very interesting with an event format that has so much potential. Only 3 of them had something meaningful/interesting to say (and one of these only because they were a celebrity and led Aardman Animations over the years). Others had really annoying, substanceless takeaway messages that just reflected the privilege and lack of adversity faced by those speakers. Pretty astonishing in the complexity of this world that on the theme of 'Chaos' the most interesting thing someone has to say is to describe their journey of decorating their house!! The event felt like a creative industry networking vibe - entirely white, middle class audience.

What a find!

Amazing event with very diverse speakers. I was invited by a friend, but I found it so uplifting and interesting that I will definitely make this a regular event!

A wonderfully diverse evening of creatively minded people coming together

A wonderfully diverse evening of creatively minded people coming together to share ideas, drinks and a few laughs together. Creative pursuits can be quite lonely at times, and being able to spend an evening in the community and be inspired is well worth stepping away from the computer for. A well-organised event a fun venue, and looking forward to the next one.
