I sold my deceased husband’s Silverado pickup and it broke my heart. Everything went well but I wished I could have got more money for it. I know it was my choice and your company didn’t pressure at all. I’m not sure about the bill of sale paperwork so i hope I’m not in trouble with that. Thanks

I like that I could speak to an actual person, Gabriel, who knew the answers to my questions! No difficulties selling my deceased husband's car. Thanks for making it so easy.

I think Peddle did an excellent job with assisting me in selling my sons deceased fathers vehicle. They gave me more money than the salvage company would give me in my own state. My only small issue was that the tow company did not complete and close the procedure after they towed the vehicle which had me waiting on funds longer than expected. But Peddle apologized repeatedly for the inconvenience because this doesn't happen. If I were to need to sell another vehicle, I would definitely go to them

I'm torn about how to rate Peddle. The process of "peddling" my recently deceased car was as smooth as silk. Peddle offered me an amount that I thought was more than reasonable, and I had no issue in collecting a check upon pickup at the auto shop where my car was declared dead. The tow truck driver was a good dude who was totally professional and efficient. However, the pickup window was 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and he didn't arrive until 6:30. I called the tow company twice, and was told that first two and then three drivers had "called out." I felt bad that the driver's day was so hectic, but a window is a window, and despite assurances that the truck would indeed show up, it's an anxious feeling about whether they will actually be true to their word. Bottom line: Five stars without the delay.

They were very helpful informing me with information I needed that I was unaware of, telling me how to get paperwork to cover my deceased husband's signature. I found them to be very fast and efficient. The driver that come to pick up the car was right on time and very nice.

Sold my deceased fathers car. Offer was $265. When I was at work , they came to pick up the car from my mom. They only gave her $150. Go somewhere else!!!

Peddle was fast, low drama, easy to navigate and their price was 20% above what the scrapyards were offering. Highly recommend if you need to say goodbye to your deceased vehicle buddy.

The car I had to junk was my deceased son's car. I thought this experience was going to be horrific, and that I would be crying my eyes out. Of course, I was sad; but the process with Peddler was quick and seamless. The pickup person was very nice. The lady I spoke to in customer service was nice and professional as well. The contact regarding preparation and pickup was awesome. Thanks Peddle for awesome service!

The communication aspects were constant. The help to solve issues were on my side.
For me it was that my deceased husband was on the title.
I had the death certificate but I I needed a specific form as well. The drivers were great! They made me feel very comfortable throughout besides very helpful and knowledgeable.
I think it’s important to have an agent that speaks fluent English and fluent Spanish as well as the driver that picks up the car. A difficult to understand agent and driver are a struggle for Proper Communication. I would have given you one more star if English had been their first language. I also think, the quote for a vehicle, that has many salvagable parts should have been quoted to be, twice as much. Because the 4 tires were new and it was a well kept older car, only minor damage to the back fender. If the previous owner had not been deceased, this vehicle would have sold for 4 times the quote that I ended up taking. Especially considering today’s economy!

Helped me in every way possible. I am 80 and I was having to have my deceased husband's car towed away.
Incompetent.
5 days of errors including;
1) Peddle cancelling the whole scheduled transaction over the weekend after I called Copart on the Fri before to verify date and time of pick up. Why?? Who knows??
2) Having to reschedule with another company, IAA, on Monday - the day that they cancelled which delayed my stay.
3) Making checks payable to my dead husband who they requested a death certificate for instead of making the checks payable to me. This was gone over in my telephone conversations with Peddle.
4) Caused the pick up company, Spillanes, to not be able to take the cars, because the checks needed to be in my name not my deceased husband's name.
5) Towing company was also inconvenienced because now they went back without the cars and would have to come again - a 26 mile each way trip.
5) Scrambling with phones calls to try to correct all this while there and from 250 miles away. My family who was good enough to go up to the house to handle this because I had to get home were inconvenienced because they had to get back home as well to go to work.
On the other hand IAA and Spillane's were very helpful and much appreciated.
Peddle was definitley NOT! Except for Nathan who was knowledgable and helpful!

The company is on top of all aspects of selling a defunct car. The tow company as well. Shout out to Kristen at Peddle and Jim, the tow truck driver from Scrappys!!!
Improve information on accurate dmv forms needed as to complete transaction/sale of vehicle with 2 owners-1 deceased. Loyalty representative sent me to DMV to get uneeded form, wasting gas and my time, when the pick up driver already had the 1 form I needed, in his truck. Took 3 days, out of work, to pick up vehicle.

I indicated there was no catalytic converter. A message cane beck the this decreases the value. The firm picking it up deceased the value again. I would have sold this to another salvage yard. I learned a valuable lesson.

I first used PEDDLE in Minnesota with 3 cars my deceased brother had left in the back of his houselot. Three vehicles in rough shape. I found PEDDLE on the internet, answered their questions (very easy to do) and immediately received 3 quotes. I never thought it would be that easy. But PEDDLE not only picked up all three cars, but the process could not have gone any smoother. They paid what they quoted. No on-the-spot adjustments. Honorable.
My latest experience here in Michigan in Sept. Same thing. Fast, easy and 100% as quoted. I have recommended PEDDLE to family, friends and anyone who needs this service. Don't even bother quoting other like services. PEDDLE is 100% reliable and gives you the best competitive price on the market. If someone else quotes a higher price, they will reduce when they come to pick up your vehicle. PEDDLE does not do that.
Peddle bought my deceased car. They handled the complete transaction professionally and made everything easy for me. They paid me a fair price in cash. I recommend them unconditionally.
This was a great experience! I was given a quote and a contact within seconds. They gave me a very fair price (double the amount of a competitor!). I set up the appointment to haul away my car and they were there on the spot. The driver did a wonderful job too getting in my driveway which was SUPER tight. He was also so kind when I got a little weepy watching my deceased mother’s car get loaded up. Cash right then and away he went. Easy. Professional. Fair. Efficient.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the smoothest experience with Peddle for three reasons.
1. My Vehicle didn’t have its catalytic converter and I made sure to state that during the questionnaire portion. At the end of the questionnaire I received an offer from peddle for $415. After taking some days to think about it I finally accepted the offer and got my car scheduled for pick up. On the day of pick up, I received a text message from the third party company that was picking up my car with questions regarding the car. In one of those question it says that if the vehicle did not have it’s catalytic converter they would drop the price of the offer from $100-$150. Kinda threw me off guard because my offer was for $415 and no where in the questionnaire did it say that the third party company would determine the final offer. I canceled the pick up and a few days later a representative called and explained the situation and at the end of it, peddle gave me a final updated offer of $305.
2. When you accept the offer, peddle sends you a follow up email on how to get your title ready. In their instructions it states that if there are two co-owners in the title both need to sign the title unless one of the owners is deceased. That was not the case. I had my father signed the title and was told that the title was signed incorrectly. They then asked me to fill out, sign, and print (one) dmv form to fix the problem. Only to find out that (two) forms needed to be filled out my each owner. This caused so much back and forth between me and the third party picking up the car that they ended up picking my car at 9pm instead of 11:30am as scheduled.
3. Third party towing felt a little sketchy. At the end of it all I received my check with my offer of $305. Because they ended up picking my car very late at night I was told that the car would be taken to the drop off center in the morning but that everything was good to go and I was finally free of my car, so I thought. That next morning, I received 3 missed called from the towing company and a text message stating that they needed me to send a picture of my check to verify some numbers in the check which I felt was unnecessary and a red flag immediately went up. Because I was uneasy I called peddle (mind you that the towing company kept harassing me with phone calls and text messages while I was verifying with peddle) to find out wether that was information that the towing company need to drop off the car. The representative advised me not to do so, that that wasn’t something they needed and wasn’t sure why the towing company was asking for it. I honestly was so uneasy that I went straight to the bank to deposit it just so I could finally be relieved of this whole thing.
I honestly felt like all this was bad luck but honestly I wouldn’t recommend my family to this experience.

My initial contact via the link was quite good; however, appointment times were not kept and getting in touch with whomever was to ultimately pick up the car was spotty at least. I waited at the house for pick up instead of being at the hospital spending time with my very ill mother (now deceased) and the driver never showed up or called on that particular day. When the call was picked up, I was told I would receive $310.00 after providing a "very detailed" description of the condition of the car, but I was only given $250.00. Furthermore, the email receipt reflect a payment of $310.00. Where was the disconnect???
