#1 Illegal telemarketer hotspot

My complaint is similar. I've been receiving hundreds of illegal telemarketing calls despite being on the FTC DoNotCall registry since 2016. I’ve received around 700 calls since August of 2023 - all are logged and most recorded. Each one is blacklisted and reported to donotcall.gov.

Peerless continues to ignore my dozens of complaints and continues to cater to criminal telemarketer operations.

They were served a cease-and-desist letter by the FTC in 2023, which was ignored. My calls started 5 months after the FTC letter was sent to them.

You email complaints to them and all you get is an automated response with a ticket number. They don't bother taking action against their criminal clients, even after recording were sent to Peerless showing their clients are posing as federal agencies or other businesses, and threaten the lives of my family when they are told to stop.

This has to be the #1 contributor for the billions of illegal telemarketing calls happening in the US. Complaints online show legitimate clients of Peerless complaining their numbers are blacklisted and always show up as spam when they call people. The BBB has them listed with an F-RATING for catering to criminal telemarketers.

I’ve been trying to get them to comply with the TCPA and their own AUP & TOS, but they just don’t care as they are profiting on providing key services to criminal operations. I’ve even sent the complaints to their CEO John Barnicle, which also proved fruitless.

The authorities need to shut this scammer hotspot down! Peerless claims they are only the carrier but they constantly provide the numbers and the base of operations for millions of scam and illegal telemarketer calls. They are completely aware of this as many people have tried to get them to stop.
