Pegasus Tutors is a premium London tutoring agency built on a simple idea: every family and every student is different, so every match should be too. Rather than relying on an algorithm or a directory of tutors to browse through, we personally review every enquiry and hand-pick a shortlist of vetted tutors — including practising teachers from schools like Eton, current examiners for OCR, AQA and Edexcel, and specialists in Oxbridge admissions — who genuinely fit what a family is looking for. We support students at every stage, from 7+, 8+, 11+ and ISEB pretest entry, through 13+ Common Entrance and Scholarship, GCSE, A-Level and IB, all the way to Oxbridge and university admissions and undergraduate study. Every tutor on our books is interviewed and DBS-checked before being introduced to a family, and we stay closely involved throughout — not just at the point of introduction. We're proud to have been featured in the Good Schools Guide, Tatler's Address Book, and The Telegraph, and prouder still of the long-standing relationships we've built with families across London and beyond, many of whom have been with us for years and return for each new stage of their children's education. Connecting Outstanding Tutors with Students

I first heard of Pegasus Tutors from a colleague during Covid. They stepped in and supported my daughter before her GCSEs. Six years later and I looked to Pegasus Tutors again, to support my son's GCSEs.
Their website was really helpful in finding the right tutor, thanks to bios. Our Pegasus tutor, Alfie, is incredible. He is able to cover every subject my son is taking in great detail and tailors each lesson. Alfie establishes and focuses on areas where extra support is needed and has been astounding at building my son's confidence in every aspect where previously he'd shied away.
I am truly grateful to Pegasus Tutors for connecting outstanding tutors, like Alfie with those students who need support. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Highly recommended

We have used Pegasus Tutors for several years, initially for 13+ preparation and more recently for GCSE support, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Alex is fantastic at listening to what families are looking for and suggesting tutors who are the right fit both academically and personally.
Every tutor we have been introduced to has been knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging and they have played an important role in building our son’s confidence. The whole process is also incredibly easy to manage, with a straightforward payment system and helpful lesson reports after each session.
Pegasus Tutors has been an invaluable source of support for our family and we would recommend them without hesitation.

We have used Pegasus Tutors for our children

We have used Pegasus Tutors for our children over the years and have always been incredibly impressed. They take the time to understand each child individually and find tutors who are not only outstanding academically, but also warm, engaging and inspiring.
We have seen a real difference in our children’s confidence and progress. The team led by Alex is exceptionally professional, responsive and genuinely caring. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pegasus and are very grateful for all their support.

Pegasus Tutors - straightforward, quality tutors

We have been using Pegasus for quite a few years now. It was highly recommended to us by a number of friends - and we have always been impressed by the tutors. They are high quality, dedicated and not overly expensive.
