Bought Carrs Special Organic Soil…

Bought Carrs Special Organic Soil Improver from the online store. I think I should alert other customers that this is NOT the same product as the Carrs Soil Improver retailed by other retailers (notably David Austin roses). Although retailed as 60 litres the product is much lower density (a 60 litre bag weighed only 17kg vs the 40 litre bag of the alternative weighed 14kg). I bought (and swallowed the exorbitant £37 delivery cost!) on the misunderstanding they were the same. Pengethley Garden Centre simply referred me back to their supplier. Ultimately it was my mistake as I didn't read the really small print but it is a really easy error (bags are almost identical). Interestingly the bags carry no weight/measures details. Pengethley really ought to alert customers to the discrepancy between their product and others on their website
