bought an acmee mf01 on the 30 12 2025…

bought an acmee mf01 on the 30 12 2025 price £249.was faulty so i returned it for a refund they replied asking me for tracking no.which i no longer had i have nothing more from them.they still owe me £249 .it was quite expensive to send it to china seems they just ignored this as it has got lost,no fault of me i sent it to the address they gave me.digusting treatment they have my money and dont want to give it back

faulty acmee mf02

i bought two acmee mf02 from this company both have been faulty,got so frustrated with one i threw in the dusst bin,i have emailed penon audio about the second one it is not recognised on my laptop and it will only play some of my music albums. have asked for a refund the asked me to send them a video showing the problem.i dont have a clue how to do this let alone send it to them.the item cost nearly £190 i have never had a problem with anything else which i have bought from other companys which have turnrd out faulty,i certainly didnt have to send them videos

No warranty on IEM cables

No warranty on IEM cables. I guess that about sums things up. I have various Penon headphones and cables and had so far been pleased with heir customer service. Unfortunately, my latest purchase included a cable that had a problem. The plug rattled and something seems to be amiss because I get unbalanced sound or no sound on one of the IEMs at times. The initial response was to please check it on another device, even though I indicated I tried it on 4 sources. Next I was told to send photos, which I did. Based on the photos, I got a message that it seemed like the shrink wrap had not been properly applied. Instead of taking this as an opportunity to resolve the issue by replacing the defective cable, I was told to unscrew the plug and see if I could not get it sorted myself. I did unscrew the plug but with the wrap being loose, I have no way to move it to look inside because the cable/wrap are to wide for the hole for the cover to move. When I indicated this to customer service, I no longer got any reply. So, now I'm stuck with a defective product, no solution, no refund and a firm conviction never to buy any more of their products. The cable was on sale for around USD 80, so no sense starting any legal action to try to recover it as that will cost more than I will get back. Oh well. Just be warned and buy local!

No more purchases from Penonaudio

I have ordered from Penonaudio (via Aliexpress) a 2.5mm balanced resistor adapter. It arrived in time but was faulty. There was a loose/intermittent contact on the female side of the adapter. With the slightest of movements the signal cut out and came back again. This was independent of the plug/cable used (I tried frour different balanced cables and the problem was the same with all of them). The male side of the resistor adapter was not faulty as the problem was the same with three different dongle DACs. I gave the Penon customer "service" an initial precise description of the problem and the context of its appearance. In answering their first query, I added the information on the persitence of the problem independently of the DAC and the cables/plugs used. So far so good. Then things started to become weird. They kept asking questions that I have already answered and asked for information completely irrelevant and unrelated to the loose contact problem. After they have asked the fourth *additional* query I gave up. Obviously they tried everything to avoid taking responsibility. They just stalled and hid behind irrelevant additional questions. Already my first description of the problem was precise enough to make clear that the problem was one of a faulty contact on the female side of the adapter.
This experience was so poor that I decided to avoid Penon from now on. I won't do any business with them again.

Excellent price & service.

I ordered some JVC Spiral Dot IEM tips from PenonAudio. They were less than half the price, including postage, than from anywhere else.
I was sent a despatch email with tracking number, which tracked the package both in Hong Kong and UK, and my order was delivered in under 3 weeks.
Very impressive. I would certainly order from this company again.

Great warranty service.

I had simphonio dragon 2+ ($319,00) that was defective after 18 months of use.
Penon replyed within 24H to my e-mail and ask me to send it back. 6 months later I got new earbuds in my mailbox.

Warranty repairs always takes time when dealing with China (or Hong Kong in that case) and it was in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic 1st wave unfortunately.
But I was happy to see Penon takes his products and clients seriously.

Actually I prefer to buy chinese earphones with Penon that a local reseller. :)

Much better than I anticipated

Since this company was unknown to me before ordering I was weary, but it turned out to be a good experience. Ordered some well reviewed earphones (Tin Audio T515) and they arrived in under a week. They were well packaged and in good condition.
