I recently bought an annuity through Pense and am very happy with the whole process.
All of my available options were discussed over several phone calls and at no time did I feel that I was asking too many questions or pressurised into buying something that was inappropriate for my personal needs.
The fees were reasonable considering the level of professionality on offer.
I would happily recommend Pense to anyone looking to purchase an annuity.

I was very concerned about who to trust to help me make decisions with my pension fund . I contacted Pensé after seeing the Daily Mail recommended them . Ross was great , talked me through all my options & I am very happy with the results . Lauren was also was good at keeping me updated with the process & answered me quickly on a couple of queries . Would not hesitate to recommend & will use them again. In the future .

After a huge amount of researching, going down rabbit holes, two meetings with different pension advisors, even taking on a myriad of recommendations from keyboard ‘experts’ on all things pensions, it was a huge relief to come across Pense.

From my first meeting with Kirk around what my pension contributions needed to do for me and my circumstances, agreeing where my comfort levels needed to be, using terminology that even I understood, through to being brilliantly supported by Lauren on a weekly basis around the pension journey and timelines, was a welcome relief!

I reflect now on the whole process and there is nothing I would do differently, no ‘if only’ or ‘maybe I should have done it another way’ nothing but peace of mind.

After looking around to try and sort my private pension out . I came across pense. And from the first time I spoke with them I felt comfortable . Then spoke to there financial advisor who helped me out so much to get everything that I was wanting . And explained things to me very clearly as I had a few blonde moments . Then every Friday I would get a email with a update with the progress of what was happening. Great service always answered when u phoned or emailed . I believe Pense got me a very good deal on my annuity. I was given weekly updates on progress and received my first payment from the provider after about 3 months from first contacting Pense. This was in line with their forecast.

Very impressed by the level of service given from all of the team involved - initially Steve Picken in gathering information and initial discussions, then Ross Taylor in giving advice on the best choices to suit my needs and finally Liv Carey for keeping me full informed throughout the process with regular emails.

Pense helped me look into my options for organising and consolidating my various pension pots from different schemes into the best solution for me. Communication was always timely and clear, and with several companies to chase, they took all the hassle out of it for me. The staff were all very professional and helpful, and when required, they chased up the providers to ensure that all was done in good time.

I recently retired and some months prior to this I spoke with Kirk about my specific needs and for both a the tax free lump sum and the annuity. I found the advice/guidance first rate, uncomplicated and focused on my needs, not over sales like some I spoke to. When it came to executions of moving my pot and administering the component parts I was kept informed by Liv who was also incredibly responsive to any questions I had. End result all monies in the right place at the right time, excellent service.

Very knowledgeable staff. Ross was great when it came to comparing the Market for me. After lots of questions from me I then received personal quotes which enabled me to make a decision after taking into account Ross' advice and additional ideas. I was hesitant in going to an independent advisor but the Pense service includes this if you want it and I'm glad I used this service. Their flat fee, rather than a percentage, saved me some 2k in fees!! As to admin, I was very impressed with Lauren who kept me informed all the way through the process including chasing up my pension company and liasing with the new annuity company I had chosen.
All in all a really professional company.

Excellent service, no pressure gave me lots of time to think through the advice. All went smoothly, James and Liv were very helpful and knowledgeable.

All the staff very friendly and very good at keeping me up to date with what was going on. I did not have a clue what was best for me but my advisor ross Taylor was very helpful. He made everything easy to understand. Also Lauren was very helpful and always replied to any emails a sent with questions. And done this with speed she was also very good at chasing up the pension company for me. And when Lauren was on holiday Harriet took over for Lauren. Harriet was also very professional and great in keeping me updated. And there for any questions. Nothing was no trouble for all the staff at pense. I would highly recommend them as I already have. And they are still there for me

My journey with pense started very badly as i was bombarded with calls and emails. So i reviewed 1 srar. The director called personally to apologise and explained it was due to new staff and a new system. He also offered, as a goid will gesture, to halve the commission, bringing the value of the annuity to virtually the same as I found with the same provider online.
I decided to give them another chance.
Their financial advisor was clear, helpful and knowledgeable.
Their team kept me up to date, even when in China, where communications are challenging.
They were always contactable. Very important and reassuring during the start of the Iran war.
I have no hesitation in giving 5stars and highly recommending Pense.
