Bad customer service
I bought paint worth of 275 euros, in total about 20 paint tubes. 2 of the paint tubes were a cheaper variant and one of the mediums were wrong. The paint tubes were the artist quality and thus, very expensive. The paint tubes I ordered were in price group 6 and the ones I received were in price group 3.
The customer insisted that I have the correct paint tubes, even if I provided images in the message. The language customer service used in the first reply was rude and demeaning. I had to continue arguing with the customer service, since they had no idea about the different price groups acrylic paint tubes have.
Finally, after arguing, they understood the issue, and even the language style changed to more formal. Then, they demanded me to return the wrong paint tubes, and only then, they will start shipping the correct paint tubes.
PenStore does not provide return label with the package. First, you have to go through tedious websites and find location where you can get the return label and then you can return the package.
After spending hundreds of euros, not only in this order, I felt that they don't value my time. They wanted me to spend my evening fixing an inconvenience they caused. Worth of the paint I'd have to return is definitely not worth the time I'd have to spend organizing the return. Additionally, the delivery takes up to a week, so it doesn't make sense for me to wait the time for a few tubes of paint. Customer service could have offered me refund or some other form of compensation.
I felt very disrespected as a customer, since I had to explain the customer service how the pigments and price groups are set up for the paints. If I didn't know the facts, the customer service could have scammed me. The communication is quite slow, having to wait a day in between each message.
Otherwise, the service has been exceptional. My earlier order was perfect, but from now on, I have to reconsider the store I'm buying my paint from.

Bad service
I made an order, in the first order the product was missing. They asked if they could send me store credit and I could make the order again, which I think is bad service as they messed up. I asked Penstore to send me the missing item, they sent me the wrong product and offered me store credit again? They told me the product is out of stock. I asked them to send me a different product instead, they replied it is also out of stock. Now I have asked them to return the money, no answer yet. This service has been a huge disappointment and at no point have I been offered any kind of compensation..

Feels like customer service don't care…
Feels like customer service don't care if their own staff don't pack the items well. I had expensive pens in a big box loosely with no plastic around them. And they just said sorry. And I'm not the only one who complain about the same thing who knows how many times by now...

I cannot see that we showed any sign of ignorance or not taking your errand seriously. We fully own this mistake since we 1. Have our own warehouse where we stock our creative goods and 2. The staff working here at Pen Store are the ones that answered you by email and picked+packed+sent your order.

Solid recommendation
Very good selection, fast enough international delivery, good packaging and - most importantly - seems to be trustworthy vendor. Their prices may be slightly on the higher side, but their low enough line of free delivery(> 49€) compensates this.
