To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Pepple Studio makes ceramic urns and keepsakes for pets who have died, each one sculpted by hand from photographs of the animal it is for. Every piece is made to order in our workshop in Ho Chi Minh City. A sculptor shapes your pet from the photos you send — the set of the ears, the way they sat, the markings — then the piece is glazed and fired at 1200°C. Clay cannot be hurried: sculpting, drying, glazing and firing take 21 to 35 days, and shipping adds another 7 to 14. Before anything goes into the kiln, we photograph the raw, unfired sculpture and send it to you. Clay is still soft at that stage, so the shape, the pose and the details can all be changed. Once fired, they cannot. Nothing is fired until you have said yes. Because each piece is sculpted for one specific animal, it has no second buyer, so we do not accept returns on personalised work. What we do instead is show you the piece before it is final, and remake and reship at no cost anything that arrives damaged or comes out of the kiln with a fault. Every piece also comes with a memorial page for your pet at its own address, where you can keep their photographs and let family add theirs. We ship to 51 countries with tracking. Orders over USD 150 ship free.

Hi, thank you for sharing this, and we're truly sorry for the stress and disappointment this caused.

Our Etsy shop was closed by Etsy unexpectedly, and we were not given a specific reason. It was not our choice, and we were just as surprised as our customers. Since the closure, we have no longer been able to message, ship or refund orders through Etsy.

You can request a full refund directly from Etsy: go to Your Account > Purchases, select your order and choose "Help with order". Many orders from closed shops are also refunded automatically.

If you would still like your piece, or need any help with the refund, please email us at info@pepplestudio.com with your order number. We will do everything we can to make this right for you.

Warm regards,
PeppleStudio
