I started an investment account with percent.com about 8-9 months ago, including their Pursuit Fund. Communication with my SMA account manager, Anthony, has been excellent. He keeps me informed of expiring deals and gives me options of new Senior backed ones to roll the proceeds into. The Pursuit fund is a little less liquid, but quarterly dividends payments are timely and I’m even thinking about adding to my principal. Since this is a private credit platform there are some inherent risks, but their great diversification into so many different deals seems to make your investment less risky as it could be.
Overall, I am very pleased with the company, their returns and especially their great frequent communication with me!

I've been investing with Percent for over a year across both their SMA (separately managed account) and the Pursuit fund. My experience has been strongly positive — consistent double-digit net returns, timely distributions, and a responsive team that actually understands the deals they're putting you into.

That said, this is private credit. It's not a savings account. The yields are real, but so are the risks — defaults happen, liquidity is limited, and the current macro environment means you need to pay attention. I've seen the negative reviews here from investors who had deals go into workout, and I take those seriously. My sense is that the managed products (SMA, Pursuit) benefit from better deal selection than the self-directed marketplace, but the underlying asset class requires you to understand what you own.

What separates Percent from the private credit headlines you're reading in the WSJ is their focus on senior, asset-backed lending rather than the enterprise-value and venture debt exposure that's causing problems elsewhere. That distinction matters, but it doesn't eliminate risk.

Bottom line: if you're an accredited investor who understands credit risk, has realistic return expectations, and isn't going to panic at a headline, Percent has delivered for me. If you're looking for a set-it-and-forget-it alternative to treasuries, this probably isn't for you.

I've been working with the Percent / Pursuit team for more than a year now with great success. I count on their updates, transparent reporting and personalized guidance during our check-in calls or Zooms twice a month.

Anthony and Bryan understand my priorities: capital preservation, maximizing passive income in retirement while I care 24/7 for an ailing elderly parent, mitigating investment risk while I juggle personal life challenges that present an increasing but unpredictable drain on cash. For me, Percent's short-term deals make sense.

By definition, alternative investments are risky. But the senior asset-based domestic private credit deals that I'm in are well-diversified so I can sleep at night.

Ask for help so you fully understand what you're committing to.

I would give negative stars if I could. Percent is not a company who should be trusted. They do minimal due diligence into borrowers, then when they default, they simply "write off" investors money (75% in my case, initially - and I fully expect that to increase to 100%, and soon), then don't communicate anything about a work out, payout or the like. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. IF YOU WISH TO KEEP YOUR MONEY, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES INVEST WITH PERCENT. NONE. ZILCH. NADA.

I’ve invested for just under a year now with Percent, and my experience has been excellent. I’ve allocated into 20 deals, as well as into their Pursuit Fund that is now a publicly traded income fund run by the Percent team. My emphasis has been on capital preservation, and the team at Percent has been instrumental in helping me achieve this, while my portfolio has been earning excellent returns. I started off incrementally, adhering to a short list of very conservative deal parameters and have grown my asset base since then while adhering to these parameters. I’ve found the platform very easy to use and their support team to be exceptional!

I have executed 50+ deals over the last 4 years with the Percent Platform. I started small and have modestly added to the base principal along with reinvesting returns for the power of compounding effect. There are some deals that have defaulted, but my overall results far outweight the losers. Stay diversified, yes there is risk which is clearly explained, look at the scorecard and align with investments that correspond to your desired risk tolerance. Communication is and always has been excellent.

The platform and team at Percent are excellent. I’ve had a great experience with my investments. The key is to leverage the team to choose your investments and diversify accordingly. Simply chasing yield is not what the team recommends and it’s key to follow their advice. They will bend over backwards to help you.

I've been investing through Percent.com for about three years and have had a very positive experience with the platform. I have also recommended it to several friends and family members.

During that time, I've participated in more than 50 deals on the platform, and so far every investment has performed as expected with no losses. The opportunities are clearly presented and the platform makes it easy to understand the structure and timeline of each investment.

One of the things that stands out most is the communication and support from the Percent team. Updates are consistent, questions are answered quickly, and overall transparency has been excellent. I genuinely feel like I have a team working with me on my investments.

Private credit investing obviously carries risk, but in my experience the platform has been well run and professional. Overall my experience with Percent has been very positive and I plan to continue using it as part of my broader investment portfolio.

Tip for new investors: treat these investments like any other part of a diversified portfolio. Spread your capital across multiple deals rather than concentrating it in one or two opportunities. I typically aim to diversify across at least 10–15 deals and pay close attention to the collateral or asset backing behind each investment.

I currently have money invested in 5 “deals”. One deal came due several days ago, am still awaiting payout. Another deal is not due for payout until June 2026. The remaining 3 deals are all with the same company and are in “work-out” which means they’re in default and I’m probably going to lose that money. I’m just glad I started small. They don’t seem they do a good job of vetting the companies they invest in. I’m just waiting to cash out whatever I have left. They won’t ever get any another dollar of my money.

Zero stars not an option. Interesting platform. I like the control. They are growing. To meet demand of investors that want high percentage returns, they have completely lost sight of how risky their underwriting has become. The amount of deals that are not paying inside my portfolio is significantly more than their advertised work-out percentage. I expect an overall flat return within the next year as I pull the remaining funds out as they get paid back. If I am lucky, the only thing I will have lost by the end is two years of opportunity cost. This isn't a scam, but investors beware.

I invest with a competitor, where I have purchased loans from CrediFace Peru. I haven't received any principal or interest payments for almost two years, and CrediFace is not responding. I'm just waiting for the same situation to arise with Percent.

Lost 1/2 my money in "workout" status. There is no true vetting

Do not invest with them. I have invested close to $150k and not reinvesting any of my deals when they get mature. 2 deals are in workout status, resulting in a loss of $21k!
They are pretty diligent when it comes to payment distributions, but recent defaults signal they are not doing their due diligence and just adding any foreign borrowers, who are easy to default

They don't really vet the businesses asking for loans all that well so half of the investments ended up in "work out", which basically means the companies are in a bankruptcy process and you basically can forget about your money. I would not recommend this -- there are other ways to get high returns without losing half of your money.

Percent.com offers accredited investors a way to invest in private credit. You can pick to invest in specific deals or you can put your funds in a Percent blended note for a 1% AUM fee in addition to the 10% interest income Percent takes right before you get paid interest.

Assuming you use an individual account to invest, you pay tax on gross interest income, and your capital losses won't easily offset your Percent interest income.

Private credit is an alternative asset that is significantly riskier than US treasuries, CDs, or MMFs. Percent investors can lose money, and instead should have just bought US treasuries or maybe municipal bonds (or municipal bond ETFs that fit their criteria) if their marginal tax rate is 24+%. Do you own research though.

If an investor wants to invest in Percent deals, pick deals with companies on the platform with a long enough track record and that are profitable. Only invest in asset-based deals as your chance of getting all your money back plus your expected interest income is higher. With total fraud or some other scenarios you can still lose all the money you invested.

Investors can lose money, so don't invest funds you can't afford to lose.

Invested in a number of different deals with them over the course of a couple of years. They are all higher risk deals, so I expected some to default, but not HALF of them. Also, Percent offers little to no information about deals that default other than telling you it defaulted and then never communicating with you again. If you contact them, they will point to "critical updates" on their website that they don't send you directly nor make it easy for you to access. They'll happily send you multiple emails per day to try to get your money (including trying to harass you to rollover your money), but they give you NO insight into problems with your investments. It's going to be a pass from me from now on.

Great customer support! The investments are solid! I will continue to add additional money each month now that I have some experience with the platform.

These guys certainly have to do something with their verification system. It just does not work. The very process always failed. This system just can not read your selfie by comparing it with your standard documents as driver`s license or passport. Customer`s support can not answer what is going on on their side. They just neglect their potential customers.
