I like the 357 club so far. I'd give performance golf a 5 based on the club but the automatic subscription charge that i didn't know about knocks them down a bit. They were good about cancelling these... See more

Yep, after some hiccups, our PG virtual caddies stayed with it until everything was done perfectly. Thank you for the outstanding service.

Great service. Purchased a GF-1 driver, thriver and 357 fairway wood. All 3 arrived quickly and were a great price. Very happy with the clubs and the service.

My experience with Performance Golf was very good. Amy, CS rep. was helpful, responsive to requests and additional questions. She was quite good in selling me on the 357 as well as the 359 which I originally had no intention of purchasing. As I have not received either club yet, the jury is still out on performance but Stay tuned!

I recently purchased the Hank Haney slice fix and found out months later they were charging me a monthly fee. I was completely unaware of any monthly fee and never would have agreed to purchase the “slice fix” had it been made clear. When I called, the hold time was forever when I pushed 3 (billing questions), eventually getting a recording telling me to leave a message. When I called back and pushed 1 (purchase a product), there was virtually no hold time and a young man picked up and claimed they sent an email confirming and called to confirm. I have 30 – 40 emails from them, along with almost as many texts and a handful of calls, all trying to sell me something. I searched all my emails and texts and have nothing saying I agreed to a monthly fee. Then he told me I must have agreed to it on the app. The same app you can’t cancel the subscription from, but you can commit apparently. Do not fall for their sleazy, slimy business practices of tricking elderly people into committing to a monthly fee and then making it incredibly difficult to cancel. Shame on performance Golf and I am surprised Hank Haney would associate with this kind of outfit.

I contacted Performance Golf after being informed by another member that passwords might not be stored using standard security practices. As a software engineer, I asked a straightforward technical question: whether passwords are stored using salted one-way hashing (the long-established industry standard used by modern websites).
In their written response, Performance Golf confirmed that passwords are not stored using salted one-way hashing algorithms such as bcrypt or Argon2, and instead are stored in a form that can be viewed internally by staff.
They further explained that this design allows customers to retrieve their password directly from their account rather than using a password reset process.
This approach is widely considered unsafe in modern security practice. Properly designed systems store passwords using salted one-way hashing so that they cannot be retrieved by staff or anyone else, even if internal systems are accessed. Customer support is normally handled through password reset flows or controlled account access tools, not by exposing user passwords.
During the same exchange, support also suggested that customers could use a spreadsheet (such as Excel) to manage their passwords, which is not considered a secure password management method.
Because passwords stored in retrievable form can significantly increase risk if a database or backup were ever compromised, the responses I received did not give me confidence in the company’s credential security practices.
For this reason, I requested that my account and personal information be deleted from their systems.
EDIT – Response to the company reply below
The company responded by stating that passwords are intentionally stored so they can be retrieved from within the account because some users prefer that to using password reset emails.
While payment details may be protected separately, the concern here is specifically about credential security. Modern security standards do not store user passwords in retrievable form, regardless of payment data protections. Instead, passwords are stored using salted one-way hashing so they cannot be viewed by staff or exposed if a database is accessed.
Allowing passwords to be retrieved directly from an account indicates that they are stored in a reversible or readable form, which is widely considered an outdated and insecure practice.
My concern is not about inconvenience, it is about protecting users in the event of internal access or a system compromise.

I enjoyed the process of purchasing the
357 golf club, I love being able to use the club out of the short, medium rough. The ball has fair distance and consistent accuracy. I know that your company is in the business of selling golf equipment and follow up sessions, I felt the amount of correspondence.(emails ) was a bit overwhelming to the point of being annoyed and certainly not in the mood to purchase anything additional. Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely love the club. I’m able to use it from different distances and the feel of the ball off the club face is amazing.

I had placed an order for some wedges with PG a month ago to find out they were on back order. Recently I received an email from them promoting a wedge. I inquired if this was the same wedge that had ordered come to find out it’s a newer version.
The associate Gail who was handling my inquiry asked if she could send the new version.
Now both wedges are being shipped today.
Gail provided incredible customer service by recognizing the flaws in their system and correcting it and making a customer happy!
Thanks Gail you have renewed my support for PG. Thanks again Jim

Outstanding service in all departments.. I purchased the SF1 Driver on the 21st February and it arrived on the 26th February and I'm a UK buyer.
To say i was surprised is an understatement, not only is the delivery possibly quicker than buying it in the UK but to be able to save over £100 on UK prices in unbelievable.
I can't thank Performance Golf enough. I haven't yet had chance to try it out but fingers crossed it's as good as the all round service.
Highly recommend.

The products at performance Golf are all very solid and helpful. The videos are clear and the online coaching is personal and helpful. But what’s more impressive is the customer support and service that you receive from the team at Performance Golf. One of the best support teams I’ve ever had opportunity to experience.

So far so good, now I hope to hit the clubs well in the Spring. ⛳️

The company is very untrustworthy as they sneak a membership costing $29 per month. It was not my intent to join. BEWARE!! While the club performs well it is not enough to make up for the diffiv=culty ongoing with their very aggressive marketing.

I can no longer recommend Performance Golf. It came to light that they store passwords and email addresses together in plain text. They feel this is ok. They want their staff to have access because (in their words) "otherwise we'd have to USPS people their passwords."
I don't re-use passwords, but SO MANY PEOPLE DO...
Here's the post I made to Reddit:
Just a heads up to anyone interested. I bought a training video series from Performance Golf (haven't dived into it yet).
Then a few days later, I purchased a click stick iron and driver, I thought it might be nice to practice with.
After those purchases, I got an email with some login instructions as a reminder and it contained my actual password.
Not a system generated starting password, but my personally set password.
I called them, left a message with customer service, and some sort of manager called me back.
He confirmed that they store everyone's passwords in plain text and the passwords are available to all staff and their automated systems at any time.
His position is that no one should mind because you shouldn't be reusing passwords. He also claimed they do not store credit card info.
Thankfully I do not reuse passwords, they are all generated and stored in my password manager, but...
A. A lot of people do use passwords for multiple things and not disclosing that you store them in plain text is wrong.
B. I don't know that I trust them about not storing credit card info.
Felt like the right thing to do to at least share this here.
TL;DR... PG confirmed that they store personal information in a non secure fashion and they're ok with that.

I am submitting a new review of my most recent communications with Performance Golf. I wrote a past review of the Draw Force product stating my dissatisfaction of the item. Customer service contacted me regarding the item and how the company would address my concerns. I will note that the communications with company have gone above and beyond what I have experienced with any other business. Performance Golf not only addressed my issues but offered me a new product solution at no cost. As we strive to be better golfers at most times a fun but frustrating game this was a game changer. The resolution was A1 customer service, I appreciate it.
