They are expecting us to return a 2,99 broken and leaking bottle of soap in a box. Unreal.
We place an order for over 47 euros. (68469606). Bartolini, the Italian courier delivers a package wrapped with Bartolini tape.
When we open the package we notice that there are no documents from San Remo. We also notice that one of the items (worth 2,99 euros) is wrapped in plastic and that the rest of the items have been “cleaned” (some labels are off).
A box containing a glass bottle of cologne is wrapped with the Bartolini tape.
When we open the wrapped soap, it starts leaking on the floor. The bottle is broken.
What probably happened: Bartolini broke the package, and tried to patch so that we would not refuse it.
I contact San Remo support with pictures and a video of the bottle leaking (support happens to be “nutritienda” btw) where P.C.first asks me a picture of the shipping label. I send the picture.
Then she tells me to put the broken bottle in a carton box and to deliver it at the nearest post locker with their return adhesive sticker (which I then realize is not in the package).
P doesn’t even care if the products have been taken care of following sanitary rules. As far as I can tell, there could have been a bunch of Bartolini employees opening the bottles.
She is only focused on me indicating which product I will be returning.
I should return them all. Still evaluating what to do.
I would NOT recommend San Remo nor Nutritienda to anybody.
Not only they do not give a damn about the products arriving safely but they doubt you when you indicate that the cheapest of them all (2.99 over 47 euros) is broken.
Never again.
UPDATE AFTER THE ANSWER:
I still don’t believe that I was asked to return all the products, including a LEAKING bottle of soap to get a refund or a substitute.
One reason more to avoid them!
