Excellent customer sevice
Had a visit from Dougie Anderson about a new front door. Dougie arrived spot on time, took us through, and explained. the process and the different options available. Then he took us through the options for the door. Having chosen the one we liked, Dougie then arrange for a Surveyor for the following week. Dougie was both friendly and professional, explaining everything in simple terms that were easy to follow. It was excellent customer service and Dougie is a credit to the company.

Had my porch replaced
Had my porch replaced and it now looks lovely. Josh and his team arrived bang on time and proceeded to demolish the old porch, lay the new foundation and erect the walls using the old composite stones which blended well with the rest of the house. They did all the excellent work in just 2 days. Next up was Glyn and Chase who installed the roof, windows and lovely new door. They did such a good job and well within the allotted time frame. I particularly liked the use of WhatsApp as the project management tool. I was kept up to date, Amanda and Abbey answered any queries very promptly with enthusiasm. Well done to all at Permaframe.

Terrible service & project management
My review is about the service that I received and not about the quality of the product. In short, I would not recommend working with Permaframe. It has taken 4 months to complete a very modest sized conservatory that was scheduled to take 3 weeks in total. This can be summarised as being down to terrible project management, an inability to manage their suppliers so they received items on time and the right items full stop, rushed / poor quality work that resulted in needing multiple visits to rework. At no point did permaframe take ownership and after some pretty substantial issues at the beginning I would have thought they would have given extra care and attention in fact it seemed the opposite. Trades people didn't turn up when they were supposed to, one came and went and left my home unlocked and totally unsecured. The conservatory wasn't sealed to the external wall, all the internal sealing had to be dug out and redone because the first attempt was so poor. Defects in the frames were missed when the product was put together it was unbelievable. After getting an escalated management visit for them to deal with some remaining issues they themselves didn't do the work they came to do properly and someone had to come back.
I sought compensation from permaframe and (having spent nearly £30k in total) I was offered the insulting sum of £100. I absolutely would never recommend them or their sister firm TWC Home Improvements.
Even more disappointingly the only two people that 'management' apologised for and for what had gone on where the women on the team, one for being pregnant and focused on her upcoming maternity leave and the other for being new and not able to cope - delightful.

Your conservatory was not a straightforward installation, and there were elements that impacted both the programme and sequencing of works. While we always aim to meet initial timeframes, bespoke projects can encounter challenges that extend durations.
Throughout the project, we remained actively involved and attended site on multiple occasions to address the concerns you raised. Where issues with workmanship or finishing were identified, these were rectified, and further visits were arranged to ensure the installation was completed.
Concerns such as site security and missed items are taken seriously. Where these arose, they were addressed and followed up to ensure the property was left secure and the work brought up to standard.
In terms of project management and communication, there was ongoing involvement from the team, including escalation to senior management. While we appreciate you may not feel this was sufficient, it is not accurate to say that no ownership was taken, as significant time and resource were committed to resolving matters.
Regarding compensation, this was reviewed carefully and the amount offered reflected what we considered appropriate in the circumstances, taking into account the works completed and the efforts made to resolve issues.
Finally, in relation to your comments about our team, any references made were not intended as excuses, but simply part of explaining the situation at the time. We take pride in supporting our staff and maintaining professionalism across the business.
We do regret that you feel unable to recommend us, but we are pleased the project has now been completed.

I recently had my windows replaced and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. If you’re looking for quality products backed by a professional installation team, I can’t recommend them enough.
The standout part of the process was the fitting crew. Kyle, Tyron, Craig, and Ben were absolute professionals.
They arrived on time and worked diligently to get the job done without any unnecessary delays.
The attention to detail in the finishing and sealing was top-notch.
They were incredibly respectful of my home, using dust sheets and ensuring every bit of debris was cleared away before they left.
All four guys were polite, approachable, and happy to answer any questions I had throughout the day.
The new windows have made a massive difference in both the appearance and the insulation of my home. The fit is perfect, and the operation is smooth.

Great service from a local firm
Great customer service from a local firm with an excellent reputation.
The whole process was very quick. Their initial call was followed quickly by a salesman then a surveyor and finally the fitting team (George and Dan) who did a great job of installing a new window. They were punctual, polite and left no mess.
