I have just had three new windows fitted. The whole process from ordering to fitting was completed in 3 weeks. Everyone, from Ian the salesman to George, the fitter were polite and helpful. George did an excellent job, arriving early and leaving no mess. I am very pleased with the results.

Trusted firm with long serving staff
We and our family have used Permaframe over the years and been very pleased. This time they replaced a non-standard timber front door. It looks very nice and, despite having unusual proportions looks very in keeping with our old house. Quite an achievement and many thanks to the surveyor. I guess it's all about the people they have that make this such a good firm. From the initial sales consultant, Dougie, the really knowledgeable and experienced surveyor, Ben (?), and the 3 very professional fitters, Kyle, Tyrone and Ben. We even had a follow up call from Max to check we were happy with the work on the same day.

Permaframe service was so helpful from the order which was carefully discussed, the surveyor came promptly and was thorough. I was kept informed during the whole installation.

Disappointing
Disappointing - we have cancelled the order for our front door.
The initial sales appointment was good and we were happy with the options shown. Then the follow-up calls started, chasing us to make a decision and get a installation date agreed. We were happy with the discounted price but explained we needed another visit to choose the final colour and style.
The surveyor gave us paperwork to sign without doing this, plus listed several options that didn't match what we'd chosen, and no one called back or replied to our emails.
There's also a link on all their emails to an 'Order Update' status on their website, which doesn't work.
We cancelled the whole thing last week, and got a refund for the deposit, but are still getting emails asking us to sign the PDF contract.
The company seems very disorganised, staff don't communicate with each other, and we had no faith in what they would install.

Thank you for your email and for explaining your experience. I’m sorry to hear that you felt the process became disorganised, as that is certainly not the impression we aim to give.
Just to clarify, the reason the surveyor produced the paperwork was simply to ensure the order details were correct. As all of our products are bespoke and manufactured specifically for each customer, we always try to double-check the specification before anything is finalised or sent into production. The intention is to make sure everything matches exactly what the customer wants before moving forward.
With regard to the emails asking you to sign the document, those are generated automatically through Adobe Sign, which is an external system we use for digital paperwork. If reminder emails are still being sent, it will simply be because the document hasn’t been signed within that system. Those reminders are automated and not something we manually send.
I’m glad to hear your deposit has already been refunded, but I’m sorry that we didn’t manage to complete the project for you. Thank you for originally considering us and for the feedback, which we will take on board internally.

Outstanding!
We don’t usually write reviews but Permaframe and their team truly deserve the recognition. The whole process was brilliant. From first visit (Dougie) to customer care and most importantly, the quality of the end result.
We had all of our windows and doors replaced, including bricking up a door.
It was a big job and was split in two dates.
We first had Kyle and Tyron fitting every window and secondary doors. Their work was absolutely impeccable. Outstandingly neat, precise and clean. They worked quickly and efficiently.
Second stage, we had Ky and Ty come back to fit the bay window, garden room windows and front door (luckily for us they were assigned to our project again). This time they came as part of a larger crew. This time other very skilled professionals came too as the job required other specialists (we are so sorry that we didn’t catch your names guys) to cover other areas to complete the job: a brilliant builder who seamlessly bricked up a door and built extra pillars and 2 assistants to support both areas: fitting and building.
They all excelled at their jobs. They went above and beyond to make the end result be the best possible, not just the bare minimum to get the job done quickly. They clearly are very proud of their work and do it from that place, achieving high standards.
The company itself was very serious and made sure to evaluate beforehand the job that had to be done analysing all technical aspects and providing professional solutions to the challenges that the structure of our house presented. They also kept very frequent and clear communications as well as supervision visits on site. We received phone calls to confirm that the team would be arriving on the day scheduled a couple of days before and even received a phone call from customer care before they finished to remind us of what the closure process should be like and what to expect.
Everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional in their different roles.
We are very impressed and pleased by the process and the results. Our house looks brilliant, smart and refreshed. Everything works as supposed to too.
Would definitely recommend them if you want a job excellently and efficiently done.
