Very poor customer service and extremely disappointing aftercare experience.

When purchasing my lehenga from the London store, we were explicitly told that alterations would be free of charge. This was later confirmed again by the Kolkata store when the outfit was delivered. However, when I came to India before my wedding and needed alterations due to weight loss, the Kolkata store suddenly charged us ₹5000, claiming that because we had received a discount, alterations were no longer complimentary. We didn’t receive any discount, it was simply priced matched to another leading store in London who were selling the product for cheaper.

To make matters worse, the £900 lehenga was delivered at 10pm the day before my wedding crumpled in an undersized tote bag instead of the original dress bag. Despite repeatedly contacting the London store, senior management, and customer service for over a year, no one has properly resolved the issue or refunded us. The only response we received was a replacement bag that was not even from the same designer.

For something as minor as a £50 refund, the complete lack of accountability and customer care has forced us to consider a small claims court complaint. Extremely disappointing experience, especially for a bridal purchase.

I am ordering for the first time and am located in South Africa, making such an expensive purchase can be nerve wrecking but Henry was extremely helpful and made the entire experience great!!! Highly recommend

Very poor customer service. I was promised timely dispatch but received no updates or communication. The item was sent late, after it was needed, and I had paid full price even though it was discounted. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Pernia’s Pop - up Shop and one of their team members Riddhi Nagda came through! She was excellent and updated me. In the beginning I thought this won’t work out especially with the little time consuming, but it all worked out. Their team and customer service is amazing and they were all excellent! They connected with me each time I needed to get answers. Eventually everything came out together perfectly and so beautifully! Our MM outfit is so so gorgeous and perfect on point!! I requested them last minute to adjust the size and that was done so perfectly on point especially the skirt length, ugh we love it!! They assured me with the correct delivery date even though I was not expected but it was nicely packaged and delivered!! So happy! Can’t wait to share photos!!
