Trying to register 🙄 a new card has been a nightmare. Locked 🔒 out. So frustrating 😫.
I later got on the phone to Perx, a very helpful handler may have solved my problem 🙃, fingers crossed 🤞 I will update tomorrow when I try to use the card. Perhaps a 4 🌟
Watch this space.
So guess what? My card is working 💪. The handler (unfortunately I don't have his name) got me uploaded over the phone. Upgrading my review to 3 🌟 as the issue is still an issue.
Exact same unresolved issue as last year. I cannot login to my account regardless of browser. Contacting support is pointless since the wait times are very long and if you email and get an eventual reply it will be to say how busy they are - hint it might have something to do with a flaky system.
Trying to contact their customer service. No chance of that. Customer service states "between 60 and 61 minute wait time. The activation process is prehistoric, for example, try adding your birthdate, scroll back from today one month at a time, what a disaster. Awful, awful totally awful. Feels very scammy.....BTW, note that the 5* reviews are likely written by Perx connections/staff to counter the poor reviews.
So happy to update!!!
Got a reply from TP saying the PerX wanted more details to deal with my issue. Great, called them, 15 minute wait (it's Christmas Eve) I had a lot on so I couldn't wait. Their helpful call centre said "no problem if you can't wait, leave your number and we'll call you back and you'll keep your place in the queue" Great.....,.waiting, waiting.....and waiting, no call.....no surprise, no solution and more to the point.....no working card. Well done guys!
Imagine someone giving you money then making it as difficult as possible for you to spend as you have to jump through countless burning hoops to successfully register your details. I am sure a substantial percentage of people lose the will to live and just don't bother using the gift card in the end.
