The response to my initial phone call was really quick. Don came out a few days later and did a thorough inspection of the areas where we had identied the rats. He carried out the baiting with care. We were given a written, detailed report after each visit. The rats have now gone. Great service.

I rang in a state of panic due to a rodent problem. Darren came the next day and put my mind at rest. He spent a long time talking things through and gave me lots of information. He was super knowledgeable and I felt confident he was on the case!

A prompt response to our initial request for help. A **significant** amount of money was paid to deal with the rat problem. As time went on, it became clear that the treatment was not working. Werner was a nice guy and occasionally brought his pet, Wilbur (his "sniffer dog") to help him out and check out the problem in our garden. They/He struggled to get anywhere. Communication became extremely poor, sometimes with months of zero response to messages. The last we heard from Newport PestForce was in January 2025. Although Werner was a nice enough chap, we feel extremely let down by the unsolved problem (despite a **significant** amount of money being paid), but more let down by the very poor communication. So much so, Werner's last visit included him drilling a gun of some kind into our fence to "get the rats"... to this day (December 2025), the gun is still in our garden as he never returned to check or solve the issue. We are frustrated and feel very let down by PestForce (Newport). I would exercise real caution before paying for any service offered. Despite the many positive reviews on Trust Pilot, we are gutted that we can't add to those. These are our honest findings and experiences and will not be using them again. (P.S. it's worth noting that although this review is labelled "unprompted review" - we were in fact prompted/invited to review, but gave Werner the benefit of the doubt by NOT writing when invited, in the naive hope that he might be able to respond to messages. That prompting then expired meaning we waited 16 months before writing this feedback... such is the extent of our patience!)

Malcolm, turned up on time on the days he was due to attend our property. With a minimum of fuss he did the work required to resolve our issue with a drain that required modification.
left our property clean and tidy after his visit.

Do not use this service. I employed Rob in April 2025, to deal with a rat problem. So far he has visited 3 times, 1 no show and fed them twice. 6 months of me having to chase him for help I have paid for.
His last visit was 22nd September, he did nothing and I’ve heard nothing from him since. Talks a good talk and that is all.

Louise J did a fab job at our property with our pest problem. She was polite, friendly and informative. She loved our dog 🐕 😂. All in all an excellent service by Louise and the whole team. They were quick to respond to any communications and very professional. We’ve used them before and had no hesitation using them again.

Darren came out today and gave very helpful and informative advice about vermin. He very kindly didn’t charge me as he felt I would be wasting my money unnecessarily. Had I used another company I would have been charge upfront for the same information!!

Joel was really friendly and came to have a look at the job within two days of me ringing him. He was able to deal with the hornets nest we had there and then and we haven’t seen any since. I would definitely use the company again - local, approachable and fast.

I called Ash early on a Thursday morning as we had mites in our chicken coop. He was really helpful and honest about options. He booked me in for the following day. Don then messaged to say he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early. He attended to the problem and was really friendly. I’m really impressed with the service from start to finish and would highly recommend.

It appears that my visit from this company and my subsequent messages about their failure to return to my property were lost in an administrative black hole. I have now had an apology and an explanation of what went wrong. I believe that good customer service is about resolving issues when they arise, and the issues I have experienced have been thoroughly resolved. So well done.
