Would not recommend their service to my worst enemy !
I don't understand where all the positive comments are coming from.
Well , I must be the unlucky one i guess,to have encountered the most rude and obnoxious person(pest control professional)you will ever come across and that says a lot about the company and the ''professionals'' it chooses to work with.
Where do i even begin .
I called them on wednesday 12/02/2020 about a insect problem i have in my house(i won't go into too much detail) on the number i found on their website to book a so called appointment.So far so good.The receptionist(which was very polite by the way)took my details and told me that someone from the team of ''professionals''will be in touch with me soon.
After two days on friday 14/02/2020 ,because i didn't receive any calls I got in contact with them again thinking that maybe i gave them the wrong phone number or email.I was greeted by the same polite lady and after explaining her my situation she said that she didn't understand why i wasn't contacted and that she will try again to have someone from the team call me.
Well after a few minutes I got THE CALL from the ''professional'.
Needless to say , it didn't go as expected,hence the long google review and the one star rating.
I will give more details about the call if needed.
Now i am left with the same pest problem and angry and disappointed on top of that.
I guess i will do what i should've done in the first place, take care of the problem myself.I might not be as skilled or knowledgeable as the true ''professionals'' but i will do my best.

If you want to be treated with respect and professionalism look somewhere else !

We had what might be described as a "next level" problem with a rat entering through a redundant drain (the property had previously been extended with new drainage; an old redundant drainage run to the original kitchen had not been properly sealed).

It became apparent to me that there are two levels of pest controllers; there are smaller local firms who can quite competently spray an ants' nest and there are "next level" people who have all the right connections and knowledge to take on a trickier issue such as this.

Local firms had recommended excavating (!), however Steve Middleton of MIDS Pest Control was able to supply a rat-blocking valve which offered an immediate solution and then also arrange a drainage contractor to fit a resin sleeve to our main drain (blocking off access to the old redundant drain) which offers a permanent and maintenance-free fix to the problem.

Obviously all this cost much more than a simple problem but still all the charges were extremely reasonable and Steve attended the property a number of times without charging. Steve also has a very engaging personal style and a willingness to get back to customers at pretty much any time.

Overall I would say that if you have an easy problem then you can probably go to anyone, but from my own experience of a tricky issue I would definitely recommend Steve Middleton and his company.

A very knowledgable representative came round and discussed the various actions to get rid of the wasps.
The job was completed quickly and successfully. I was told to contact immediately if I was not satisfied and was also given a discount because of being over 65 years old.

Steve was quickly round to investigate a wasp nest which turned out to be an underground wasp nest. They had nested into a wooden sleeper and Steve found the nest, removed the nest and the wooden sleeper so my little boy could go out to play in the garden safely. Steve also went to Wicks to get a replacement sleeper and installed it for us! His given us a wasp nest and we couldn't be happier with his service, the price and its nice to see someone take pride in there work.!

I discovered a wasps nest in my roof on Sunday evening - rang Steve, agreed the price and within an hour he was at my house to resolve the problem. You can't ask for better service than that.

Hi, couldn't be more helpful. Arrived promptly and gave a great friendly service after girlfriend's house infested with fleas from her cats. Also came back one week later and sprayed again just to make sure. Was a fraction of the cost of other companies. Very happy to recomend.
