Buyers Beware.
Buyers Beware.
This has been, by far, the worst company I have ever purchased from. Not only does customer service take months to respond, but when they finally do, no one provides legitimate answers or meaningful resolutions. Instead, you'll be constantly strung along.
The company appears to care more about protecting its profits than standing behind its products. Don't be misled by the advertised one-year warranty—they did not honor.
I purchased what I believed was a beautiful teakwood table after being told it was highly durable and that the only maintenance required would be occasional teak oil. In less than a year, the entire table had begun to rot. When I contacted the company, it took over three months to receive a response.
They eventually sent a third-party repair technician out twice. The technician told me the table was defective and that the company should take it back. Despite that, the owner claimed the technician never recommended a replacement and even stated that he had personally spoken with me. That never happened—I have never spoken with the owner.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from Peter Andrews. I found the company to be unresponsive, unwilling to stand behind its warranty, and more focused on avoiding responsibility than helping its customers.
I wish I had read the reviews before making my purchase. My family and friends have bought several items from Peter Andrews over the years, but after this experience, I would strongly encourage others to shop elsewhere. There are many companies that offer better customer service, better support, and stand behind the products they sell.
Buyer beware.
