PTDJA has really helped give me the step-up I was looking for with my DJing, as well as a really solid foundation for getting into production. Super helpful and awesome community.
Before I joined PTDJA, there was very little known in technical knowledge when it came to music production.
Upon completeing only the production courses I'm more confient when talking to other artists and in my own creation. from Ideas to building well defined projects using what I've learned form Alex T. Diplo, Parisi, and Ame.
What I love the most about the PTDJA is the ease of understanding, not overwhelming, and the ability to get an insight into other producers' process of creating music.
My goal is to create music to give back to the world for what it has given me throughout my life. I'm very grateful for the education and applying the skills with local artists, also for myself with my music to come.
The community at PTDJA is very welcoming and helpful. I'm excited to apply to the to the oppportunitoes in the future with my own music.
Thank you again.
kind regards,
Chris D.
The experience I've had during the course has been incredible and every day I learn something different from it... I am grateful to the course organizers and for their dedication.
It's a great platform to consolidate your knowledge.
Also the resources they give are very useful!
The video courses are well made and we really learned a lot of new things during the 2 courses. The site is also easy to use and with the weekly live sessions and channel updates you really feel part of a community.
I love this new idea of “Academy”it gives u oportunities to reach higher faster, still finding my way and my voice in the music industry so i’ll probably say more soon:)
Love u guys from ptdja🫶🏻
Amazing platform for learning and sow many opportunities to shine as an artist.
The community spirit is amazing and everyone is very willing to help in any way possible.
Great structure of course and easy to understand.
The teachers are top class and really know the crafts of the trades.
Defently can't recommend them enough.
5 stars all the way.
Great Dj campus. The community is amazing. Course wise everything is clear and straightforward. And one of the things I like the most is how the teachers who are world renowned DJ, share what they experience before during and after a set and makes it relatable to upcoming the DJs who have the same worries so it like a confidence boost to them.
Hi, I've done a couple of music courses online and in person and this course was the best. It has plenty of informative content professionally crafted as well as a strong community. It's also very affordable so I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to learn music production and/or DJing
Great 360 approach to becoming a professional electronic musician, quite hands-on, thorough and with a real community.
Pete Tong Academy is far more than an online DJ course — it’s a complete professional framework. The curriculum is structured and clearly designed by people who actually understand the realities of the industry, not just the basics of mixing.
What I appreciated most is the balance between technical skill, musicality, and mindset. The feedback process is detailed and constructive, pushing you to refine not just transitions, but track selection, energy flow, and identity as an artist. You’re encouraged to think like a DJ who performs, not just someone who mixes tracks.
If you’re looking for real progress, clarity, and accountability as a DJ, Pete Tong Academy delivers. Highly recommended.
If I could give it more stars I would! There’s so much here, they have really went above and beyond to cover all bases and teach in such a way that you’re encouraged to really create and find your own sound.
For me personally, it allowed me to be able to start where I was with where I was - which was with a Beatport subscription and Pioneers WeDJ app, which might sound naff because I wasn’t using a controller, but ultimately, it was my way of testing whether or not it was a desire/passion I would really apply myself to before investing in equipment - which if you’re someone who doesn’t have the capacity to invest right away, is invaluable.
They’ve taken some of the biggest DJs and Producers in the Industry and not only do they teach you how to develop and apply the skills but give you exercises to go away and practice so you’re layering the skills as you go; to listen back and really learn what you’re doing. Not only that, but the interviews with the different DJs and Producers where they’re sharing how they work, build, create and their set ups is EPIC - where some schools you’re learning from one teacher or copying skills from reels - in PTDJA you get to see just how different each DJ and Producers does things which really reflects back to you that there is no one way to do things and the more that you devote yourself to learning and practicing (and being willing to suck at it and learn) you have so much space to really grow, play, learn and develop you’re own creative license.
As if that’s not enough, there’s a circle community where you get to connect with others on their journeys, ask questions, answer questions and share for feedback.
AND they create opportunities for you to make submissions and share industry opportunities. It’s insane. Like, whether you start with the intention of just wanting to learn and play around and explore, or if you’re committed to really applying yourself - you’re completely covered - as long as you’re ready to get in, do the learning and do the work, you’re going to gain so much from being in this space.
For context, I started in wanting to learn because it had been a teen dream to become a Sound Recording Engineer and later a DJ and school had dashed it, so I just set it down - 20 years later it’s me circling back to give it a go.
I’d fully intended to just learn to DJ and ended up, even with my ultra basic set up, creating my first 4 sets I uploaded to SoundCloud and the further through the course I went and the more I learned, the more I realised the scope of what you can do and I see how learning to produce makes TOTAL sense and of course, I’m ready to invest in equipment and learn all over again - but I feel confident in myself with it now because I’ve already practiced so much with where I was with what I had.
So I am immensely grateful to the whole PTDJA team and the community for making it such an expansive, welcoming and inspiring space.
If you’re going to learn anywhere I couldn’t recommend PTDJA more!
I've learned a lot from Pete Tong academy from my bedroom DJ , now i feel more confident to perform in front of my friends and family
Amazing experience so far - so much to learn
Very complete, organized dj course. Great community too.
I spend a very good experience in the academy. All the basic point of how to be a dj or how to make a track is very clear and simple to understand. I recommend to any one who want to start the journey.
Great platform for students who want to improve skills!!
The absolute fact that I have followed these icons of industry for well over 20 plus years made it a no brainer choice for me. I felt that this was my chance and window to the world of music which I love. My opening to be linked to the best legendary pillars of House, Techno and all sub-genres just simply where I always wanted to be. There is no other course on planet earth which can keep up with PTDJA. Here's what take the plunge and thank me later when you're at the top of the game. Just do it and do it NOW! I have zero regrets and grateful to be a part of this awesome academy.. Yours respectfully, Dj Jazz House Mafia.
