They ripped me off for almost $2000 and I am OUTRAGED. I had a 30-year-old oil furnace in the home I purchased in April 2020 and decided (stupidly, as it turns out) to use Petro for oil deliveries and service. I bitterly regret this decision now. The furnace was making a horrible noise when it was warming up, so I called Petro out to fix it. I was told replacing the blower and adding tiger loops (for a grand total of $1427) would fix the issue, so I had the work done. The next time I turned the thing on, the original noise was gone, and now a new and even worse noise was happening. So I called them again, and this time I was told the entire unit needed replacing. WHY THE HELL DIDN"T THEY TELL ME THAT BEFORE I SPENT THE INITAL $1427? They're supposed to be experts, that's why I hired them, and instead they ripped me off for $1427 and then told me I had to spend another $12,000 to get the thing replaced.
I did end up getting another company to come in and replace the furnace and switched from oil to natrual gas. Then this morning, I got a call from Petro saying I now owed them an additional $400 for early termination of the contract! I am so angry about this I am seeing red. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau about this because they STOLE from me and I'm not going to take it lying down.
Learn from my mistakes, everyone. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT do business with these crooks.
