Ashley at PetScreening was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond to help me with my account and made the whole process simple and stress-free. Her positive attitude and friendly approach really stood out, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the people she helps. I’m so grateful for her support—thank you, Ashley, for the PAW-sitive experience! 🐾

We were required to use this service for a one-time verification for our dogs when renting a new home over a year ago. We have just been fraudulently charged again a fee by them, out of the blue and with no authorization or advice, over a year later. At no point were we told this was a recurring fee, and it is preposterous that it would be recurring, given that the use of it is for one-time rental property applications, and then not needed any further! Once we paid them for this "service" as part of our rental application we needed nothing to do with this company ever again. And a year later they have stolen money from us without any authorization or approval. We have made sure it is clear that they are operating with such unethical practices, and will make sure to make this known among our property management contacts as well so that they do not use their services any longer and subject applicants to sharing their credit card info with a company that abuses it. Beware of this company! Do NOT give them your financial details.

Very slow to respond, perhaps they need more employees in customer service

I have reach out to pet screening over 7 times this week. They are ignoring my request and is refusing to provide me support to resolve the technical difficulties that I am having. I have provided screenshots and emails to them. A member of their customer support team, Ashley gave me instructions to convert my household pet profile to an assisted animal profile. I followed the instructions as directed and keep encountering a hard stop. I have provided screenshots. For some reason my old pet profile from years ago when I lived at my old community is connected to my new profile at my new community. This issue is not allowing me to convert my pet profile to an assisted animal profile.

Whenever I have needed assistance in updating my Pet Screening account there was always someone who gave me excellent advice. In the recent past, after I had to put my precious cat, Honey, down after she got sick suddenly, I asked for help in cancelling my account and was given that help right away, saving me the extra grief of having to continue with the process of cancelling my Pet Screening account myself. KUDOS to SARAI for that wonderful help!

Eric from Customer Experience was incredibly helpful. I wasn’t receiving any PetScreening emails because they were being blocked on my iPhone and sent straight to trash—along with emails from a few other companies. Eric walked me through the entire process, explained each step clearly (including when my profile was in review and then verified), and made sure everything got resolved. I really appreciated how patient and thorough he was. Great support from start to finish.

I'm calling BS on the majority of their reviews re customer service because you would first have to get ahold of someone and that's so far impossible. Tried email, submitting a form and calling. I might agree with the person who said, "they take so long that people would give up and click to have the ESA accepted as a house pet."
Please don't use them if you're a Property Management Company. They'll slow you down. Waiting on a lease for two+ days and the weekend is here.

Scam. They make you pay for a pet profile. Rediculous. This company should not exist. Shame on lazy property managers for that. Let's destroy those scammers!

This is the slowest responding company I’ve ever dealt with. It’s 2025 and you can’t add anything to a pending application without starting over. Oh, and they don’t have a phone number. They also stated that if my process needed to be expedited to have the apartment complex email them at the same email address I emailed them at. For what? To wait 3 days for the first response? To get the same non-answers that I’ve gotten? No, thank you. I read the last review they got how the person felt like they had to proceed with their ESA like they were a regular pet. I feel like I’m about to be in a similar position or lose the apartment I really want.

Scam likely they take forever to verify documents and push you to the point where you just proceed with your ESA as a house and pay the fees. This should literally be illegal. The next time I move into an apartment or house I will make sure that they don’t use the service or I will just go elsewhere. You cannot sign a lease until they verify documents or else you just have to proceed without your ESA.

They take forever, they have made my wife's disability worst with all the hoops they have made her jump through. As someone that has been in the property management business for over 30 years including luxury and low income, these people are the worst I've dealt with.
They brag about their denial rate and they only care for the property managers and not the tenants with the disabilities. It is a shame they don't have compassion for their fellow man, and they use the excuse we are just following HUD guidelines, as someone that has worked with section 8, section 811, and section 42 housing. I know the difficulties that people have trying to find affordable housing and these people brag about their denial rate. It is sad, when people only care about their bottom line and not about mother's and grandmother's with disabilities just trying to have a equal playing field.

Just want to say when I initially started the profile there were a few back & forth's. I communicated with Jade & Stephanie a few times and was assisted promptly. I especially appreciate Stephanie's help because she is the (only) one that finally answered the question I asked several times & never received the answer. Thank you Stephanie

Total scam. We do not have a pet. We completed all forms, oaths, promises and other garbage forms at a concord rents apartment.
Now petscreening is saying we still have to do more.
trying to just get more info to sell.
This is a gimmick organization that is selling data.
And there is no way to delete your account.
They will share your information forever.

I've been trying to get approved for 2 years and they do everything they can to make me pay and they don't accept emotional support. I've sent several letters from the psychiatrist and every time something is missing, they get tired, I don't know what to do anymore, there's no service, I can't talk to a single person, it's terrible.
Regrettable!!!
