Pexels has a lot to complain about.
Let’s start with censure. Blind restrictions are a no go and create a lot of doubts.
When this happen you’ll get a email with general information but never a specific explanation.
Featured pictures are chosen absurdly and seem either to be done buy a bot or the extent of favoriting certain authors.
Stats are a joke as well as ‘live views’, to say nothing about the graphs and the so-called ranks.
Also it strikes to works flawless and seamlessly for more than a day.
Support is hidden and not obvious as well but who needs support if it’s for free, right? Wrong and basically for ethical reasons and the problems this site can create in terms of copyrighted material.
And there a lot more to tell about but it would be worthless to refer as Pexels will never change for better.
Just don’t be fooled by the nice clean looks of the app and website. Pexels is the living proof that ‘made us Germany’ is not always good quality.

They make it impossible to cancel the trial period. Do not put your credit card here. They will abuse

They are deleting my original astrophotopraphy images I've uploaded for no reason with no explanation or notice?

It gets 2.5 stars. Unfortunately they are a very WOKE site. A lot of inappropriate pictures. A lot of useless, low class or disgusting pictures. And on the other side they have a good amount of useful pictures. Would rather they proportionately had pictures that represent our society.

It is a page that comes to be a subpage of "Pixabay" that offers free photos including those that this last page has had to withdraw due to its lack of ethics (they were initially presented as a Spanish website to avoid taxes and copyright)..

Don't use pexels videos for any youtube video creations. 3 videos on my youtube channel got copyright strike. The copyright strike comes not immediately after uploading but after a while ...

I've been using this photo stock for a while. The most important point for at this photo stock is accessibility and payment free. But sometimes it is impossible to find pictures on specific points like IT or Crypto.
It will be also great if some users will not post the same or nearly the same photos ( I mean if put in search "Men" and scroll down, you will find photos from user that are basically the same)

Nature and animal pics and vids great, but when you get to people (especially couples) the amount of homosexual (mostly lesbian) content is way out of proportion to straight content. Going someplace else to find more balanced content.

I love this site! They have a very simple policy and easy to use site! Lots of content for both videos and photos!
And it's totally free!!!

So, I asked them about how to delete my account and I told them that I'm THINKING about deleting my account because my reasons. Few days later they just delete my whole account without consulting me first. I mean, I even become HERO on Pexels, won one challenge and have 40 millions of views, just terrible.

Lots of sexually explicit content. No safe search. No I can be using at home and then image comes on screen that none of my children need to see. It would be a pretty flawless platform if it had a safe filter and photographers content could be marked with nudity etc. This would be great.

If you need royalty free images, pexels is one of the best places to get them

Just use Unsplash. It's better and comes without identity politic BS. Easy fix.

They don't ask for money if you give the credit to the writer. Unlike many other websites, they don't require registration and pre-payment. Thank you for this website!

It's the best website that provides stock photos and they offer it for free, and no credits are required it's great and I love the way they present the photos and videos and it's actually can be used commercially and personally, for free.

it's great of what they offer actually, and I like the interface they offer, and the way that can support creators by donate as well if you want and like the photo or video the creator provides, and they run some contests and creators can win as well, it's both beneficial for both creators and also for the users who like stock photos or stock videos which actually offered on website for free and they have high quality that can be downloaded free as well.

the platform is very easy to use even for beginners on the internet that can simply search with the keywords and find what they looking for as simple as search engines.

the only bad thing on the platform that in some categories or some keywords, or some niche can't find a variety of images, and still low on some categories which I believe it can be later filled by providers and creators somehow in near future, but overall it's a great platform and a great experience.
