Phil is an amazing driving instructor and has helped me all the way through
He is extremely kind and calm which is really helpful when you make mistakes
He never fails to tell a great story too

Phil is an amazing driving instructor and an all around great guy who I am very lucky to have had teaching me. He was always patient and adapted the lessons to best help me learn with his expertise leading me to pass first time! Not only was he incredibly knowledgable but also genuinely invested in getting to know me and supporting my driving in every way he could, including answering my many questions from practice outside of lessons! I was always kept at ease and entertained in lessons with his jokes and stories and also felt fully prepared not only for my test but for driving in the future as well. I am convinced there is no better driving instructor, so thank you Phil!

Phil was an amazing driving instructor. He was always patient, friendly and positive. I learnt so much with Phil and because of his teaching, I passed first time. Before my first lesson, I was scared that my lessons would be awkward and silent. However, I was severely wrong as Phil was kind in getting to go me and always took away my nerves with his jokes and stories. I’m very grateful that I was lucky enough to have Phil as my driving instructor.

I have spent a good 50+ hours with Phil now over the course of all my driving lessons and can firmly say I got very very lucky in choosing the best driving instructor there is. He’s a one-of-a-kind human, genuinely cares about his students, and he has a real talent for knowing how your brain works before you understand each decision you’ve made with driving. I came to him with a few issues of my own and really struggled with getting the car anywhere, but he was reassuring in a way that made me believe it was going to be okay, so you end up trusting him and then, in turn, trusting yourself more for it. But not just in driving, I am genuinely a more confident person because of this. I am truly going to miss my driving lessons, he is the funniest man there is but he’s also really kind. All I can say is thank you, Phil. You are amazing and I wish you all the best in everything you do.

Phil is an outstanding driving instructor. He took me from complete beginner to passing my test, and all throughout he expressed himself as a genuine, calm, collected, personable, and exceptionally knowledgable instructor. I could not recommend Phil’s services enough. The experience of learning to drive has been not only enjoyable, but also purposeful, in ensuring my ability to drive. Thank you Phil.

Phil is absolutely brilliant! He is calm reassuring and extremely observant. Learning with Phil makes learning to drive an easy and calming experience as the catalogue of relevant stories makes taking information much much easier! He is the reason I passed my test.

Phil is the perfect instructor. He makes you feel safe and comfortable while in the car, he tells great stories and can make you laugh very easily, and he helped me pass first time with just 5 months of lessons.

Phil is an amazing driving instructor. He never failed to make me laugh at his stories and his jokes. His lessons are always good and a good experience. He gave me confidence and helped me believe in myself when going for my driving test. He has taught me all I needed to know to pass my test first time but also taught me lots about driving on my own and with friends. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else, there is no one better than Phil.

Very good driving instructor. Phil is charismatic and conveys road sense in a very manageable way. Would highly reccomend him!

Phil was a really lovely instructor who helped me feel comfortable in the car. He was very good about being flexible with the lessons and was willing to answer any questions which would come up whilst I was practising. At no point did I feel pressured to have extra lessons and Phil was great at preparing me both for the test but also for driving after the test. He was able to recognise my experiences from cycling on the roads and use that to inform how he taught me.

Phil helped me very much to being confident with driving, i wasn’t confident when i started but he never makes you feel bad for making mistakes like stalling or touching the curbs. He’s good to chat to and makes you comfortable. Now i’m excited to drive in my own car :)

Phil is a brilliant teacher. I was very anxious about learning to drive and could never really envision a future where I felt confident to drive on my own. He was so incredibly supportive and encouraging and never failed to make me laugh.
Thank you Phil for getting me through my test but also for making it such an enjoyable experience, when I didn’t think it was possible!

couldn’t recommend anyone better! explains everything really clearly, will go at the pace that suits you well and never rushes anything, always calm when you make a mistake and is a really positive instructor. helped me through exam nerves really well! genuinely such a positive teacher!

Amazing driving instructor, not only does he teach really well he is also always there with help and support before and after passing test.
Truly amazing at what he does and very highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Phil is an amazing instructor and he really made me enjoy driving. I never felt embarrassed if I made and mistake and everything was explained really well. I passed first time and really feel able to drive on my own in the real world. Not only is he a great instructor but he’s also a lovely person and I really enjoyed talking to him every week - it felt like I was just going for a nice drive with a friend.
