Make sure medication ain't for depression!
After being on Wegovy for 6 months, today I was denied any further treatment due to them checking my medical records and noticed 1 medication was down to treat depression at the time. After explaining on the phone that this is not the case anymore and it's just for sleep, I was told they were stopping my treatment and to seek out a face to face pharmacist or Boots for further treatment. The fact that in the beginning they had access to my medical records, as you have to sign a disclaimer and they send a letter to your G.p saying you are on this medication. Surely if there was an issue about medication and what it was prescribed for, this would of been flagged up in the beginning, not 6 months down the line! But despite me being over 15kg down in weight and me sticking to calorie counting, I'm denied anymore treatment! Surely if I was depressed to start with, this would send me over the edge? No, instead I'm complaining on platforms! Seriously, if this was an issue in the beginning, I'd completely understand, not 6 months down the line!
