Our house has hue solution and frankly if you have a choice go somewhere else it is just c**p. There are a few different options out there and I would go for them. We certainly are moving across.
The system doesn’t work, is expensive and has so many problems it is hard to innumerate.

I ordered Philips Hue products based on the stated 2–3 days delivery, but after placing the order the delivery was only confirmed nearly 3 weeks later. Because of this delay, I cancelled the order and requested a refund before the delivery was confirmed. Despite this, Philips Hue still went ahead and sent the items.
This left me stuck with products I had already cancelled, with no refund issued. I then had to take time out of my own schedule to return the items, and after that I had to continuously chase the refund.
Even after returning the products, it took 2–3 months of follow-ups before the refund was finally processed.
Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience with poor communication, slow processes, and unnecessary hassle caused to the customer.
Avoid using their services if you value reliable delivery and customer support.

Horrible customer service. Phillips Hue is impossible to reach no one ever answers the phone. When you’re working on projects and need support or additional products, there’s never enough help or availability. Completely frustrating and a huge letdown for a brand that’s supposed to be reliable.l

Ordered product on 8/12 and it is 25/01/26 today. Still not received the order! Response from CS is very poor and all I get told is that they looking into it and is top priority but I have been hearing this since Dec. The last time I called CS they were based in Peru answering my call in UK and definitely could not help me. CS takes 5-7 days on messenger to respond and the response is we are still looking into it.

Terrible service. After waiting for my delivery due to ‘ high demand’ it arrived with one item missing. I called customer service and they said they would look into it for me. I was hoping that they would be able to arrange a refund for the product which was missing. All I have been offered is a discount code, rather than refund. The products while they are good, they are expensive, and I can’t be paying for items which are not received. I have reached out to customer service another couple of times and I’ve had no response. My only option now is to claim a charge back as luckily I bought them on my credit card.
Terrible customer service, which is a shame as the product itself isn’t bad.
I’ve shopped with Philip’s Hue a few times in the past, but now I’m really hesitant to do it again.

2 different extremely negative experiences with Philips Hue -
First, I ordered 2 Hue cameras and realised one of them didn't connect to my Hue bridge due to an error. (the other one did so it wasn't an issue with my bridge). It was impossible to connect to their support team. They have multiple contact numbers listed on their websites but none of them deal with Hue cameras! I kept being bounced around different customer support teams in different countries but no one knew who was responsible for technical support with Hue cameras. I can't trust a company like this with my home security so I returned it after spending hours on the phone with them.
Second issue came when I ordered 2 other items and only one of them was delivered to me. They never emailed me saying they're experiencing delays etc - think they just hoped I'd forget that I ordered 2 items. Reaching customer support was (AGAIN) impossible. Their Facebook support, Instagram support, and WhatsApp support teams don't speak to each other or share any information! So I have a different case number with each of them 🤣 I can't add screenshots here but their teams don't respond for days. I've messaged the FB team for an update and haven't heard back (it's been 2 weeks and still counting..) I still haven't received a refund from them.
Will be complaining to the consumer ombudsman.

Shipping was quick. Delivered and received within a week. Handled with care. Packing was very secure.
Would give a 0 if I could.
Placed multiple orders in November. Took a very long time for them to be shipped out. Tried to cancel one of them but was unable.
Orders were only shipped after I raised a case on PayPal stating items haven’t been delivered on schedule.
Returned an order worth over £470 and it was marked as delivered on the 24th December.
It was a bundle order and a hue bride pro. The bundle had no SKU so was not on the invoice. I spoked to customer service to clarify before my return.
I still have not received my refund as of the 22nd and customer service is shockingly useless for a large company such as this

Love my hue products and super easy to set up
Was able to find the item I wanted and details about it. Added bonus, they were on sale.
Over £500 worth of electrical items / lights were ordered. The delay from order to door was unusually protracted. I was not informed of the delivery day when it eventually happened and a van just turned up out of the blue. The items were very poorly packaged, or in fact hardly packaged at all. Items were barely protected so I dread to think how they were crashing around whilst with carriers etc. Very disappointing.

Shipping was delayed first lamp arrived damaged replacement works hit or miss. The app only allows one user per device (unless you purchase a Phillips add-on plus product - which frankly feels like a rip off, as it nowhere said only this device will be limited to one user) and since it has no physical power button - it requires the one user to be within range of the device. This means if the one user is not home, the lamp is off/not usable. This lamp feels like a rip-off Phillips. I would NOT recommend.

Frustrating experience ordering direct from Philips. The shipping is unreasonably slow. I don't expect Philips to be Amazon Prime, but it took 3 days from my order date until it shipped and then still 5 days to arrive from there. Maybe I'm spoiled, but a lot of online businesses seem to have their logistics substantially tighter, and Philips isn't exactly a small company.
My second complaint is about pricing and sales. The sales and coupon codes feel confusing and misleading. You end up adding things to your cart, but then the discounts don't apply like you'd expect, and you have to go searching through fine print to understand why. At the end, most of the sale prices aren't much better than you'll find at other retailers.
The products themselves are great, but overall, I don't think there's much reason to purchase direct under most circumstances. You'll get the same prices and a better experience going third-party.
I didn't like not getting any notification for when my packages would ship or arrive. It also took two weeks for my packages to arrive despite paying for 2-5 day shipping. Partially explainable by ordering on Dec. 31, but not a great experience to just get no info on when it had shipped.
