We find Phillips to be solid in web hosting. No major issue and support reps are responsive.
I bought 2 TVs same make and model, Phillips ambi light, when we moved house 1 and half years ago, one Tv has been fine but the other one I've had problems with from a year old. They supposed to have come with a year guarantee, I have been in touch with Phillips customer service about the problems with it to be told its a poor signal and I need a signal booster. The other Tv work fine. Tried to explain this but to no avail. Dulely bought signal booster and it works for a week or two then we have the same problem again of the Tv loosing the channels, every couple of weeks i have to retune to try get channels back. Sometimes it takes several days before we can watch it again. But according to Phillips it's not a problem for them it's our problem. So why does the other Tv that's exactly same make &model work OK if the problem is with us. DON'T BUY PHILLIPS TV. Also don't buy from Curry's because when I got the Tv delivered one was smashed and they wasn't going to replace it because they said i should have taken it back the same day, and it was a few days later as I was waiting for the chap to come and fit them on the wall and it was he who told me they were smashed, there was a big hole in the front of the screen. I won't recommend Phillips or Curry's to anyone and will go out of my way to tell them to go elsewhere and buy other makes
