Phoenix cars: what can I say, I’ve had nothing but grief since I bought my car in the first year the gearbox went and now I have had the injectors and turbo go, I have had this for two years since buying it from these guys and now have had to scrap the car leaving me with £8k finance to pay off not to mention the work I’ve paid to keep fixing it.
The warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on wouldn’t bother with these guys.

I have received a very professional service with Neil.
I placed a deposit without seeing the car. I took the car for a test drive and wanted the car, but there was a couple of issues. Neil arranged these without any fuss and when I returned to collect the car a week later it was in perfect condition, I drove away with a smile on my face. I would recommend Phoenix to anyone, first class.

Brilliant from the first phone call…
Brilliant from the first phone call until the moment I drove off their gravel forecourt. I’ve bought my last 4 cars from BMW Williams so to move to a different retailer was a bit daunting, but one that I’m happy I did and it was nice to know I’m supporting an independent business.
After committing to driving 230 miles to collect the car I put a deposit down on, I was worried they would try and renegotiate the original part exchange offer, but this wasn’t the case at all.
They took my car off me and told me that they wanted to improve some of the blemishes on the car to make it forecourt standard and I’ve just seen it on their website for a price which makes me feel like I got a very fair price from them.
Thanks again, I would definitely be recommending them to friends and family as they were great.

I brought a BMW m140i from these guys today, the procedure from start to finish was an absolute pleasure. Where to start.... I rang up to put a deposit on a BMW 320d Msport and to discuss finance. I was given a finance quote of what my monthly repayments would be and my interest rate. All of which I was happy to proceed with so I paid my deposit. A week or so later I rang to arrange collection and to confirm payments, to then be told a completely different finance rate to previously agreed, after questioning this I was told “I shouldn’t of been speaking about finance with this member of staff”. Very unprofessional.
This is just the start, i settled for the less appealing finance rate I was actually entitled too and collected the car and also purchased the best warranty they offered. Whilst driving home a juddering started on the car. Phoenix Cars were notified to this problem the following morning after collection. It was then upon me to book the car into garages to diagnose the fault and get it sorted. Phoenix cars offered no help and were actually quiet rude and blunt on the phone for saying they had just sold me a faulty car. Not once an apology to this day...
After taking days off work and taking the car to multiple garages it was diagnosed as a faulty Transfer box. I was told by Jason to book my car in for the repair. The garage was booked and they sent a quote to Phoenix Cars for replacement transfer box. Phoenix cars then rang me and said they won’t pay for the repair as they know someone that takes the transfer box out and puts an old reconditioned one in for a lot cheaper,(something I don’t want on a car with 50,000 miles and was advised not to do by multiple BMW specialists). So after paying fees to get to Winchester to collect the car,insurance,days off work and vehicle tax , I was left with no choice but to refuse sale of the car. Of course the calls were stressful and I was spoken to as if I’d caused them a problem. The car was sent back and my deposit returned , however, I was not refunded my monthly repayments towards the car and I’m currently being contacted by Santander 4 weeks on from returning the car because Phoenix cars haven’t paid the finance settlement figure, which leaves me with late settlement fees and potentially ruins my credit score. To conclude I’m massively out of pocket because of Phoenix cars selling faulty cars.
Buy your cars from elsewhere and don’t end up in the situation I’ve found myself in!

Great customer service and straightforward buying process !!
After seeing the car I was looking for on auto trader, I went to see the car the next day. The staff were all friendly and laid back, and let me take the car on a test drive with no hassle. After driving the car they told me just to give a call if I was looking to purchase, with no hard sale tactics. I went back to purchase the car the next day, the business manager was welcoming and made the buying process very simple and straightforward. They also sorted out all the tax out for me that day. Would highly recommend and they had been recommend to me prior buying the car. Great first car buying experience, thank you 😌

Couldn’t recommend this dealer highly enough. They have a great range of stock, very approachable and personable! They aren’t pushy for a sale like other big car dealerships are and they want you to be comfortable in making the right decision on any car. The transition from sales to finance when purchasing was very easy too, they were very competitive with the trade inn price on my previous car 👍🏻and you get the same level of professionalism with the whole team. I had some minor defects which I noticed that I needed to sort out after my purchase but I messaged them and they were very happy to sort it all out for me fairly quickly and have done a brilliant job! UPDATE - Mis-sold Volvo XC90 July 2020
UPDATE - Perseverance pays off! So after being refused a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 after PCC mis-sold me a Volvo XC90 in July 2020, by misdescribing the extras on the car. ( Original unreplied review left in August 2020 )THEY HAD TO TAKE THE CAR BACK after 10 months!
Yet even after Trading Standards, Citizens Advice, Nationwide Credit Card and the Financial Ombudsman agreeing that I was mis-sold by PCC, and Nationwide ordering PCC to refund me, they still refused to refund me unless I removed my previous negative reviews!!!........ Only after Nationwide threatened legal action did PCC finally refund me!.......... So why try and remove negative reviews? Surely a sign of a good company is how you deal with complaints............ Something that PCC are incapable of!............. Do not be intimidated if you know you are right and the law is on your side! For peace of mind, buy elsewhere!
