Paid £545 plus £120 call out charge for a new key and removal of the immobiliser plus he opened the back and side doors and bypassed one of the deadlocks but he didn't have time to do the other one. He said we would get a partial refund on the call out charge but the company didn't know what i was talking about.
Would rather scrap the car than use these again.

Paid £265 for a car key, barrel, ignition problem and being charged for ignition barrel service on Skoda.
Issue remained unchanged after visit.
Multiple calls and written complaint sent — no response, no refund or actioned upon so far.
Technician was polite, however problem not resolved and no follow-up offered.
Currently still waiting for response.
Company claims 15+ years of experience but has just registered in 2024??
Amazing service, came the next day to provide and programme a spare key, technician was in and out in 15min.
Good price, would definitely recommend.
Outstanding. Top customer service, brilliant price and prompt resolution. Couldn't recommend enough
Fantastic service, after losing my only key, all it took was a quick chat via the IM service and a 5 minute call to verify all details. Same day arrival and incredibly quick resolution even on a weekend. Roxanne is a diamond and Shaun was amazing. Great service and highly recommend these guys to anyone
I rang this morning and Spoke to Roxanne, i told her that both my key cards for my Renault Clio had stopped working and my car wouldn't lock,or unlock. I told her that I had changed both of the batteries and my car was still saying battery low, even though the batteries were brand new,Roxanne listened and then said had I taken off the stickers????, from the batteries before installing. I said I hadn't noticed any stickers but I would check!!. As my car was in the garage unlocked, I grabbed both key cards and opened them and sure enough they both had stickers on the batteries. I ran to the garage and sure enough both key cards worked. I am so grateful to Roxanne thankyou so much ,and also thank you to Carla 10 out of 10 you were brilliant 👏
What can I say? My old Skoda had ignition barrel problems and finding a local garage that could help was impossible.
I saw Pheonix Car Keys advertised, and the very pleasant receptionist sorted everything in minutes. I paid a deposit and a locksmith came in a couple of hours.
Even went out of his way to collect a new part for me.I am so glad I picked up that phone today!
Hello- I was in a bit of muddle last week with my ignition barrel on my vw polo , I called phoenix at 8.40 am and had someone with me by 11.30am! The service on the phone and when locksmith came out to my car was very profession and quick service just what I needed when I was in a middle. I am in Essex. Would definitely recommend phoenix . Roxanne was the lady on the phone and went above and beyond to get me quick service
My car key had broken in half, one half of which had remained in the lock. The engineer sent [khan] did retrieve this to be fair, but then 10 times failed to cut a new key to start the car. Eventually I was left with a key that just about starts the car [it's an incredibly tight fit] but does not activate some of the dash inc. the clock, nor the windscreen wipers. The key also does not lock the central locking, and as I find this unacceptable I have contacted this company via WhatsApp, but I have been thoroughly ignored. A £280 rip off scam in my opinion. I eventually had 2 keys cut for just £30 each [I have the receipts]. In my opinion avoid Phoenix Car Keys, they don't care whether you end up with a working key or not, and will ignore you should you complain [as I have done]. Disgusting practice.
My key barrel had siezed up. I rang Phoenix at 1.30 on the Friday, hoping to be sorted that day to get to my event the next day. They offered "at the latest" 11am the next day and I paid £90 deposit I thought I might get to the evening part of the event. I rang the service manager number they had given me at 11.10am and discovered that my job "had not been logged". The new barrel was fitted by 3 pm and it was too late to get to the event. I thought this was an emergency service and if so, it is not fit for purpose
I followed the ads on google - saying cheapest and another saying affordable. They charged me £225. The local guy who came out said it would have cost £120 if I'd called him directly - and they are a city centre company. I understand a 'broker' needs to take a cut but that is taking advantage of people who are often in difficulty circumstances. Re their reply - they had contacted me twice after the event and I filled in their feedback request explaining what happened with no response so they had my details. I also provided my contact details through Trust Pilot. I have no reason to lie.

Brilliant service with great communication polite and professional same day service and the product to match key works perfectly. Would recommend to anyone amazing company!
Fast reliable service, everyone knows that locksmiths are costly but that’s the only thing I could complain about. Customer service was impeccable and they got my car unlocked within 1 hour of calling up. Which did make me feel like I got my moneys worth. Vlad was really kind and I’d definitely be booking again if I do get locked out in future.
Amazing service locked myself out my van with the keys inside. Kelly had someone out to me in 45 mins and straight in. Perfect . Many thanks to Kelly an the team.
After being let down by 2 call out mechanics, what cost us money, I called phoenix and explained the problem and was hesitant about it at 1st because they wanted a £70 deposit, but also reassured it would be refunded IF they couldn't fix the car,so we went a head. Not only did they fix the car but turned up on time, and the problem was sorted at a very reasonable price thank you Kelly and team.
Phoenix were brilliant, able to send someone out to my car which the ignition barrel had broken on in less than an hour. Chris was brilliant, very thorough and resolved the problem for me with such ease especially as I had a very small baby in the car with me! The service I received was 10/10 thank you so much
My interaction with phoenix started a few days before Christmas. They gave me a good price over the phone for the required work and I paid a £75 deposit there and then, understanding it was the Christmas period and I’d be waiting. I was put in contact with a locksmith called Tom who responded when contacted and was very helpful. Now, the trouble started on 2nd Jan, I contacted Tom for an update when he would be coming and he replied that he was in hospital and that he had told the office so, I of course thanked him and wished him well before trying to contact Phoenix on their claimed 24 hour phone number, calls started at 4:15pm on 2nd Jan, I emailed, I whatsapped and tried calling for hours. I finally got a reply at 6:15am 3rd Jan and when I called was told they had closed at 4pm the previous day, on a 24 hour phone line? Benefit of the doubt given as it was explained they were short staffed because the company owners were on holiday. Now, this left me in a predicament, I needed my car, felt for Tom and was by this point frustrated with the abysmal communications from the company. I stated I required my car or a refund of my deposit today, the call handler said she would contact another locksmith and get back to me, surprise surprise, nearly 2 hours later, nothing, so I called back again and was promised a callback within 10 minutes with either a refund or an alternative locksmith. Happy days, I got the call, confirmed some details and they sent the lovely Xeni all the way from East London to Salisbury within 2 hours and he worked his magic, repairing my car. My frustration comes from the fact a man in hospital was more communicative and helpful than the office! The technicians were both excellent, professional and kept me informed, the office, not so much, happy my car is now fixed, disappointed by the communication.
Would hesitate and look for another company first should the need arise, but wouldn’t rule out using them again as a last resort.
I had a great experience with Phonics Car Key Company. The staff arrived right on time and did a tremendous job in a very professional manner. He quickly diagnosed the issue and saved me a lot of money by repairing the key instead of replacing the whole barrel, which other places suggested. The work was done efficiently and professionally, and the problem was solved perfectly.
I’m very happy with the service and would highly recommend them. Definitely deserving of a five-star rating.
Very helpful WhatsApp advice from Daniel Wood enabled me to resolve the problem with my car key without calling them out. Thank you

I booked well in advance to have a spare car key made and was expecting the appointment to be first thing in the morning. I appreciate that things can go wrong, but I didn’t receive any updates beforehand, so I had to call and message on the day to find out what was happening. I was then told I could be seen at 3pm, which I was happy to accept, but again I didn’t hear anything by 3pm so I called.
I then found out that their server had been down all day, which meant the key couldn’t be made. I completely understand that technical issues happen, but it would have been really helpful to have been informed earlier, as it would have saved a lot of waiting around rather than being told last minute. If the server was down all day, a simple call to say would have made all the difference.
Overall, just a bit more communication would have made the experience much smoother.
