I wish I read these reviews before choosing this company. Please stay clear!

I ordered a large mosaic print for a special occasion - celebrating our school’s 185th anniversary. I received notice that it had been printed, and notice that it had been sent - but after three weeks of waiting for something that should have arrived within 5-7 days, photo-mosaic took absolutely no ownership over the product. My queries would be responded to after 3-4 days and they were wholly dismissive. The special occasion came and went and we had to change our plans around the lack of print which featured every child in the school. They had no appreciation for the huge inconvenience this caused.

I have been chasing for a full refund… still no idea where the actual product is.

This company is disgraceful.

Do not order from this company, they are a scam! They advise they would print and send a poster and then told me I had to print myself -£30 later!! I sent them their policy and they had the gall to say I never ordered it. What the hell did I order for £30 cause I received nothing …..

I ordered a mosaic for my daughter’s 21st Birthday having previously done one for my son (from a different company). This one looked good in the preview sent, but like so many other customers, when it arrived although the main photo was good, the individual mosaic photo tiles have been compromised so much by the main photo that they are unrecognisable, devoid of colour, features, some whitewashed others so dark you can’t see them at all. Not at all like the Mosaic for my son, (if only I could have remembered where I had ordered that one from !). I contacted customer services with my complaint, only to be told “ I am pleased to inform you that the mosaic has been printed correctly and matches the preview you provided in every detail.
Unfortunately, the main motif you selected has some strong textures that cause the individual images to overlap, making them less distinguishable. In this case, we recommend choosing a main motif with a simpler design for the best results.”
I replied and said that nowhere was I told that my main photo was too complicated and to choose another, and that my sons mosaic isn’t like this one at all. I left a bad review but of course they’ve not published it on their site.

I then checked reviews on trustpilot and found many people experiencing the same. AVOID !

This company is an absolute scam, and I only wish I had seen the countless warning reviews on Trustpilot before wasting my time and money. The experience was identical to what others have described—upload your image, select some additional photos, and receive a "sample" image that *appears* fine. You’re then encouraged to place your order, believing everything will turn out okay.

Then reality hits. The print arrives late, just as many other customers have reported, but that’s just the beginning of the nightmare. My order was a deeply personal gift for my partner’s family member, who had recently passed away. It was meant to commemorate them and the print was a birthday gift, with over 500 photos to create a meaningful mosaic. I was so confident that the sample looked fine that I didn’t even inspect the canvas before wrapping it up for the gift.

What arrived was an abomination. The face was completely unrecognisable, and the result was so horrendous and upsetting that it caused even more pain for my partner. It was a complete failure, and frankly, it’s hard to imagine a worse outcome for something so sentimental.

When I reached out to Catharina in their customer service department, her response was as tone-deaf as you could imagine—she insisted that the “sample” image was accurate, despite the fact that it was clearly misleading when blown up to the size of a large print. When I explained how the final product was a far cry from what was shown on a small screen, and how deeply distressing it was for my partner, they completely ignored me. No apology, no acknowledgment of the damage done. I even suggested a reprint with shared compensation, but again—radio silence.

This company’s lack of customer service is disgraceful, and their product quality is subpar at best. Don’t make the same mistake I did—avoid this fraudulent company at all costs. They clearly don’t care about delivering a satisfactory product or providing any kind of meaningful customer support. It’s a waste of time, money, and emotion.

Please don’t use this company!
I ordered a mosaic canvas after I lost my baby which didn’t arrive in time and it was bad quality (couldn’t even see my baby face). I emailed and asked to speak to someone but I was ignored! No empathy or trying to understand how important that was for me! Absolutely outrageous!! You should be banned from selling

Fortunately I didn't get as far as some of the poor people below in that I didn't get the "free preview" prior to ordering. Clearly I checked junk folder also and it's now apparent that junk is an apt term.

Use another UK provider based in Skegness, (unlike these guys who have German contact details). That guy is awesome at.

For all the reasons mentioned by other reviewers here - Do not use this company. I regret not looking them up on Trustpilot before ordering.
Terrible image quality, atrocious delivery timescale, unexpected customs charge and ‘couldn’t care less’ customer service.

Absolutely awful. I agree with the other reviewers - do not use this company!
I ordered a mosaic as a special gift for my partner's 70th birthday - her life in pictures. I paid over £200 for the acrylic and when it came it was absolutely dreadful - you cannot make out any of the pictures at all! When I complained to the company I was basically told it was my fault. Their response is below. The proof they sent looked absolutely fine. Also beware - they are not based in the UK at all and you will be subject to import fees. I had to pay an additional £56 to even accept the picture. If only I had known - but again - my fault! Such a massive disappointment.
A truly awful company - do not waste your money or believe the glowing reviews on their website!

Their response to my complaint is below:

Thanks for your email. We are sorry that you are not happy with your mosaic. Unfortunately, your main photo is not ideal for a photo mosaic because it has lots of textures which over up the individual images. We do recommend using more simple photos. We provide much information on our site on how to create your photo mosaic.
All mosaics will be printed exactly as submitted. We do not double-check the files. With placing the order, you confirm that you have checked the preview and that your order is ready to be printed.

For the delivery we do have a disclaimer online saying the you might have to pay import fees.

Please do not order from this company!
I ordered a mosaic canvas for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. When the proof was sent the individual mosaic tiles looked clear. However the actual canvas is such poor quality that you can’t recognise the people in the photos.
I complained but the company are maintaining that the proof sent makes me liable. They also admitted in their response that my main picture was not suitable for a mosaic. They didn’t inform me of this at any point during the process and just continued with the print regardless.
I have paid over £100 for a gift that I cannot even give to my parents. Disappointed doesn’t even come close!!!

I would give no stars if at all possible. DO NOT risk ordering from this company. They appear very professional in their sales but the image you are sent as a digital preview is not what you get in print. We paid nearly €600 for a 50th wedding anniversary present, opting for the highest quality of everything. We were pleased with the preview sent and so ordered. When the picture arrived however, we couldn’t even tell if the 750 images were ours they were so blurred. After sales informed us that the preview image you are sent is not what it will look like when printed!! Now what’s the point of sending a preview of what you will not get? They are refusing to refund even though they have admitted what they sent was not the same quality as the preview…..criminal!!

Took ages to compile and all looked great on the preview but when it arrived it was terrible all blurred colours did not match or blend little photos were unrecognisable spent over £100 for something that will go straight in the bin customer service Is dreadful and no refunds even when the canvas looks nothing like the preview. Do not waste your money

Never received item when tracking stated delivered. Spoke to people on live chat who agreed to reroute the order and I had to pay additional £7.99 for this. Still never received items. The service was awful and I'm left out of pocket for a total if around £50.

Terrible experience. My order came damaged. I notified them and also sent pictures of the damage. They said they will replace the order and should take 3-5 business days. That was 6 weeks ago. Since then, i have not received a response to almost daily inquiries about replacement status. Just avoid the hassle and order from some place else.

I found photo mosaic wanting to get a gift delivered within the uk. I spent hours collecting and uploading all the photos. Clicked on the size and purchased the image. Once purchased I couldn’t find how to get the image printed and sent (which is all I wanted to do all along) I called them up and was immediately greeted in german then with aggression in English. The person who picked up the phone informed me that because i am currently abroad, even though I wanted the item delivered to the uk using a British credit card, I am unable to even select the option. She asked why I purchased an item I didn’t want even after I explained that I assumed this was part off he process as I had been given no other options. She then refused to help me but kept yelling. I asked if someone in the uk could purchase the item using the image I had purchased but she wouldn’t give me a straight answer. What a waste of money.

Definitely would not recommend. Ordered a mosaic that took a lot of time for me to organise, as I put together 750 photos. In the end the print of the larger image discoloured the smaller photos to such a degree that the vast majority you cannot see, thus defeating the purpose.
Also, although I used their UK website, I was hit with import tax of GBP 57 as they send the items from Berlin.
When I complained about the item quality, they didn't seem to care at all, and when I wrote a bad review for them, they chose not to publish it.
Would definitely use a different company next time!

I too have had a bad experience with this company, the head of one of the people in our family picture is cropped off, this WAS NOT shown in the preview even though Catharina from the company insists it was; she has yet been unable to send me proof of this. It's not cheap, we paid £150 and I'm so upset that they are not looking to help with the matter.

I ordered a mosaic for my parents pearl wedding. The process of uploading the images was easy and I also received a free preview which was helpful as I was able to choose the picture I felt worked best. However when the canvas arrived the print was very poor quality. Some of the photos had white hexagons in them and some of the photos had white streaks in them which were not on the originals. I contacted the company who insisted that the preview had shown this (obviously it hadn't, it had shown all the photos as they were uploaded) and refused to even send me a smaller poster which I could frame (I feel it is the quality of the canvas print that is the issue). Very disappointed and I definitely would not recommend this company.
