This company is an utter scam & I’m disgraced how they’ve even targeted any of our photography pages. It’s an injustice to all us business owners. Just reading these other reviews I genuinely feel so... See more

If it's genuine, it could be a good idea, but they are going about it the wrong way. If they want people to sign up, they should have a basic listing (as lots of directories do) and then get permissio... See more

This Site is a Total Scam

This site is a total scam and they should have immediate action taken against them. They copied my website information and images without my permission. In fact the only way I knew it happened was the "scam" email they sent. I 'unsubscribed" immediately and the site must be removed otherwise I along with many other's from what I read, will take legal action against the company and owners. Illegal way to do business.

website cloned and now social media

They’ve already cloned my own website, twice! And now they’ve done my Facebook profile too. I don’t think I can do much about my own website but I’ve reported them to Meta for the Facebook page scrape in the hope that meta might actually have enough nuts to bring them down

The cheek!

I have just emailed them a reply, asking them to remove my images otherwise Legal action will be taken. How do they think this is OK to copy someone's work in a mediocre way onto their own website, ridiculous!

Scammers

Scammers. Used my email and page name from Facebook to setup an account, then tried to claim it as their own.

Pathetic

As many others say - they e-mailed me out of the blue to congratulate me on my listing going live and invited me to claim it. (In fact, they did this twice. The second time wasn't a follow-up. It was months later and didn't read like I had a listing go live before.) they word it as if you signed up for it, thanking you for joining.

I go on to see it only to find an ugly-looking page that just displays my Instagram feed with pathetic-quality, crushed and pixelated pulls of the images.

I'm not sure what can be done as it's really just a mirror of a feed but the whole thing just looks amateur. Why they think this is a good idea to entice people to list is beyond me. All it's doing is tanking their ratings by pissing people off. Hopefully, ignorance will make them disappear into the ether of the internet.

Avoid

Scraped our Facebook page and built a terrible inaccurate listings page about our business then tried to charge us to claim it. Inaccurate information providing a bad image of our services to potential customers. Absolute scam.

Addendum. Their website appears to be full of very suspect looking AI photographs, which for a photography website is incredibly foolish.

Thieves

Thieves. They stole my details and posted them on their website for their benefit. I did not give permission for it nor have I been contacted. They should be reported and closed down. The only good thing was that when I emailed them my 'page' was deleted.

They sent a spam email and went into my Instagram profile and created an account that they are attempting to charge me for access to when I did not engage with them nor give them approval to use my work or to set up an account. I have sent the support team an email and a live chat request that reads:
To Photography1000
You do not have authorization to publish my work on your website, I will not pay fees as others are indicating you are requesting, you did not ask for my content you took my work illegally. Kindly remove my business and work from your website this is unauthorized.

Digital content theft

The company downloaded the content of my Facebook page and posted it on their website without my permission, and to get my control of it back, they're asking me to pay fees, which I find utterly insolent.

Unauthorised and illegal activity - capturing my images and data.

Like every other comment here on Trustpilot, I first knew about Photography1000 when I received an email with the generic subject about themn creating a portfolio containing my images etc.
I sent them a reply demanding that they delete all my images and content as their action is violating my copyright.
I also advised them that if they failed to comply with my demand, I shall commence legal procedures against them.
Clicking on the link in the email today (four days after my email was sent) the link get a '404 Page Not Found' response.
Clicking on the other link "Claim ownership or report listing" my name and email still appear, but the link to my portfolio appears to have been deleted.

This company have not approached me

This company have not approached me, stollen my photos for their profit, this company site should be shut down immediately. So many people have been scammed by this group. Never approached just taken without permission. This is becoming another reason to stop sharing my work on line for this abuse. I will question my position going forward when using facebook and insta. I sell my works and they are degrading my work and stealing future revenue.. you have had so many reviews, why have you yourselves (Trustpilot) not escalated this as fraud.

Fraud who have stolen my hard work, ignoring all attemps at contacting them.

This 'company' has cloned my facebook and website stealing hundreds of images they have no right to use and publish. They have no release forms from my clients granting permission, and I obviously don't enjoy have my name and words stolen and used to promote them. After numerous email attempts asking them remove my name and my images, I have had no response and as of this moment my page is still there. The audacity to steal my work from me and ask me to pay them for the favour is utterly disgusting and absurd. Looking into take legal action at this point.

Scam! Photography1000

Same as everyone else here! Ripped off my images without permission and used as window dressing for their dubious site without notice or permission. My 'Page' was removed when I gave notice of legal action and intention to invoice them for use of my images. Most of the comments here suggest they are scraping data from Facebook but my images were taken from my company website... including the watermark visible across each image.

Photograph1000 unauthorized scraping of data

Much like the rest of you, data scraped from multiple sources, with no permission, remuneration or model release for the images. Looks like they took about a month's worth of data at first glance.
While a directory of reputable photographers is a nice idea, this is not the way to go about doing this. Here are the steps I have taken at this point:

1 - take screenshots of what they have created should it be needed for legal resolution
2 - sent a cease and desist letter that stated:
- permission was never granted for the use of the data (additionally in my case, they have no model releases to post those images, either)
- requested that the information be removed from their platform, servers, backups
- demanded they stop continued gathering of information related to my business
4 - asked for written confirmation of same

I will monitor their site to confirm the data has been removed, and if not, initiate legal recourse.

Not asked for

Just sent them two emails requesting site be removed, not least because some of the images taken were Community Group work and not mine.
I await to see if removed. Now seems to have been removed
