worst work experience

Honestly, this was one of the worst work experiences I’ve had.

No real training — they just dump documents and videos on you, but you don’t even get access to the actual systems for weeks.

They promised a company laptop but never gave one, yet the supervisor nitpicked my lighting and even what clothes I wore (sorry, I live in the coldest part of the country, I’m wearing a sweatshirt, not office clothes).

The “training” is literally just watching someone screenshare while they do the task. No structure, no guidance.

The supervisor was unsupportive and expected me to perform like someone who’d been there for years,

The most tenured team member gave me a “bad evaluation” calling me unresponsive, which is unfair — I do respond, but apparently if you don’t reply within 2 seconds, you’re considered “unresponsive.” She also evaluated that i am not cooperative in meetings - hello, what am i supposed to contribute on the meetings, when I am new and dont even have any idea of what you are talking about duh, there's no team here - just 'do your shit however, whatever, no excuses'

Oh and when you get unforeseen circumstances and acts of god kind of disturbance - and cannot work - the supervisor doesn't accept any reason, it's like "oh so there's a typhoon number 4 storm in your area that's pulling out trees so you don't have electricity and internet? not my fault, not my problem, you should have a generator" and im like "duh, work from home doesn't require generators, you're already saving a huge amount of money by paying us 90% less of what you would pay on a regular, local employee - we are providing our own facility - which you would also have to pay for if your workers are working in an office - so again, a huge amount of savings you get - but c'mon - if there are acts of god that even YOU cannot stop - then i think a little consideration is just humane - right?"

but guess what? yup -none. I was like "gosh this is the worst company I've ever been with" I dont know how their freelancers are surviving this boss

SOPs change constantly, there’s no autonomy, and when something goes wrong, it’s automatically your fault.

No contract. No pay. I worked days for them and never got a single cent. When I followed up asking how to process it, I got no response. uh-huh, like you didn't exist.

Huge red flags everywhere. If you value your time and effort, stay away.
