Uses baby animal skins to sell shoes & bags

I posted what I thought was a fair and factual comment on a Pierre Hardy post to say how upsetting it is that they actively advertise the use of calf kin, kid skin and lamb skin in their shoe and bag products and sell these skins as ‘luxury’ at high prices. My point was that in 2025 this is cruel and unnecessary to continue these practices. Skins of baby animals should not be worn and marketed as a selling point. Rather than engage with me, they deleted my comment, which suggests that they have no legitimate reason as to why they do this, though it would be inexcusable even if they did.

When you write "white tires", we are guessing you are talking about the white soles of our sneakers. Please don't hesitate to share your concerns with some pictures with our team at estore@pierrehardy.com, we will be happy to give you some care advice and check if there is any quality issue with your shoes. Lastly and to reply to your question, we generally don't do discounts except during the official summer and winter sales, and all our loyal customers also receive invitations to our private sales before anyone else.
