Beware of Pierson Mechanical
I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Pierson Mechanical. Pierson Mechanical was assigned to repair my water heater by my home warranty company. The entire process from start to finish took 54 days. I had no running water for 19 days during this time due to my thermal expansion tank and water heater leaking. No one answers the phone, scheduling is a nightmare, and customer service is virtually nonexistent.
The most disappointing part happened on the day of the installation. No one showed up during the scheduled appointment window, and I never received a phone call or any notification that they were running late. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told my appointment had somehow "fallen off the schedule" and that someone should be able to come out in a couple of hours.
To make matters worse, Craton Pierson (the owner) called me four hours after the scheduled appointment time and informed me that the propane water heater I had ordered wouldn't be able to be installed but he could install an electric water heater instead or I could replace it myself. When I asked questions and voiced my frustration, he was rude and dismissive. The lack of communication, follow-through, customer service and professionalism made an already lengthy process even more frustrating.
I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. If you value reliable scheduling, timely communication, and good customer service, you may want to look elsewhere. If I could give Pierson Mechanical zero stars, I would.
