We had an excellent experience with Pillaitutors over the past two years. My daughter has been preparing for her 11+ exams, and the support she received throughout this journey has been outstanding.

We started our journey with Pillai Tutors back in 2018 with my eldest son, then continued with my daughter in 2021 and my youngest son in 2023. I’m so proud to say that all three of them passed their 11+ exams for the Sutton grammar schools!

Manju and her amazing team, Mrs B and Ayoub, truly care about every child’s progress. Their experience and dedication shine through in every lesson. The sessions are always well-planned, engaging, and supported by excellent resources that keep the children motivated and confident.

The Learn2Write online creative writing programme has also been a real game changer for us. It gives children the chance to practise all the different types of writing, and the feedback is always thoughtful and encouraging — it made a big difference to my children’s writing skills.

Manju also provides a huge range of past papers and extra materials, which really helped my kids feel prepared and calm going into the exams.

If you’re looking for a tutor for the 11+, I couldn’t recommend Pillai Tutors enough. Manju and her team genuinely go above and beyond — they treat every child as if they were their own and do everything possible to help them succeed

Manju and Mrs. B are absolutely great. I greatly appreciate the efforts and dedication of Manju despite her poor health. My son joined PT in year 3 and we kept faith in Manju's team till the 11+ exam. Unlike other tutors, Manju provides the right teaching and material at the right time. I have noticed some kids who do it too early lose interest and focus. This timely teaching greatly helped my son to progress naturally. My son has cleared all the three Sutton schools. Pillai Tutors offer reliable, affordable, child friendly and exam focused tuition services. My girls have been having regular classes since over a year. My older child passed her Sutton set and second child is having 11 plus preparation since Y4. Manju and Mrs. B have been working hard to support kids, provide effective time management/exam techniques and useful exam preparation resources. I like their approach of regular mock tests, mini test and frequent revision of syllabus to check understanding of pupils. I would recommend Pillai tutors to other parents too, specially Easter revision course. Thank you to Manju and Mrs. B for all your hard work, efforts and guidance.
